Think back to the dark days of Redknapp. God I hate that man. From the moment he was 'in the building' he went to great lengths to tell all his media crony mates how bad our squad was. He had no intention of coaching or trying to improve the players he had and, without a cheque-book, showed just how limited a manager he really is. Fly-by-night mercenaries seemed to be coming and going on a daily basis, making it impossible for fans to get to know them and get behind them.

I was only thinking about this today. Remember that game live on Sky vs Southend in the cup? He played a few youngsters and we lost, and after the game all he could do was moan about the lack of quality in the squad and I believe he said something like "hopefully that should stop these youngster knocking on my office door and asking for a game"!

You too. How the **** can what other people are wearing really affect your thinking in any way, shape or form?

The only exceptions are if the person is wearing a pompey shirt, or if said person is a woman. Only then can anyone have an excuse.

For the record, I don't wear football shirts casually. Never have done and never will. But why people get so uppety about it I'll never know.

At Doha airport recently, a bloke taps me on the shoulder and pulls up his jumper to reveal a Saints shirt. He'd spotted my Saints pin badge from afar.

And 1700 of those were sold because the spread legs on the shoulder reminded them of their sisters/wives.

For all Saints' goals from last season (apart from one according to a comment on Youtube) check out this video by babolatmatt:

Last season (with regards to Saturday games) the first lot of highlights went up on a Sunday evening, but that was only 3/4 minutes or so with the poor commentary from the bloke not at the game, the extended highlights came on Monday or Tuesday.

There's every chance he can get it in. The bag checks at SMS are hilarious. It goes a little something like this

Steward feels outside of bag. Thinks: "yep, that's a bag". Says: "Thank you enjoy the game".

Sometimes they ask you to open it a little but they never move anything around inside. Complete waste of time but excellent for those who want to bring in their own drink.

For many home games you get the full 90 minutes.

Just so Pat isn't disappointed, it wasn't "many" games last season that you got the 90 minutes, it was about 5/6 games, but pretty much every home game had "extended highlights" of about 20 minutes or so.

The Bournemouth away game had the full 90 minutes also, and a few other away games had extended highlights but from stupid angles with pointless stop start editing and annoying music.

Well worth the money though, it's a good service.

had to mute it after 2mins that swoosh bloody badge effect is so annoying hope they stop that crap.

totally agree, very annoying. the new features where it shows the goal scorer and the subs are okay, but the swoosh thing is ridiculous.
