  1. Most people on here seem to think Morgan is the better player. I'm not one of them, never have been. I think Cork is all round better and more effective for us.
  2. He had his own pre-season to get ready for the Olympics, so he's not starting from scratch.
  3. Cork is taking his time to recover; I think we've really missed him. And having some full back cover is vital too.
  4. Then we'll have to hope his teammates have got a bit more backbone to them than some of the wet flannels on here. God forbid we should have anyone with a bit of character in the team. Good on him for not putting up with a bunch of utter bell-pieces mocking and booing him with less than 2 games under his belt.
  5. In-demand-Appy can keep concentrating for a little while longer; Palace have gone for Hollowhead. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20176036
  6. Any news on Cork too, Ess? Both of those back would be a bonus.
  7. Damn straight; I'd love to leave my job and become Nik Nak's errand boy. Who wouldn't FFS?
  8. I bet he fixes it so that he gets Nik Nak every year. And puts a little "xx" on the present label.
  9. Shurlock already likes the rumour so much he eliminated doubt its a rumour.
  10. I think he takes the minutes and provides the tea and biscuits, bless him.
  11. Maybe Jords was down the dry cleaners with Nik Nak's suits at the time and didn't have time to leak the news. More pressing (arf) duties to attend to.
  12. OK, this time your sarcasm lost me.
  13. But do you think your explanation is feasible? Given how so many people say what a great businessman Cortese is; would a man of such acclaim take out a massive loan at huge interest rates just to not spend it? I'd suggest not.
  14. Its not sarcasm. I enjoy hearing things like this that I haven't heard before. Just trying to put it into context, and see how accurate it is. Does it really sound feasible to you?
  15. The loan hit the accounts on 18th September; I think there was plenty of time to cancel it if the deal didn't come off. I'm assuming the deal didn't fall through on 31st August? Before that, so even more time. But no you're probably right, better to have the money months before we need it and pay the interest repayments on it until we maybe can spend it in future.
  16. What a shame. Simon Peach also needs to up his game; he got pretty much every other transfer spot on in advance but clearly missed this massive news.
  17. The loan wasn't approved until September; after the transfer window had shut. How does that fit in?
  18. Really? More than £12M? For who?
  19. I don't know, but as long you keep counteracting them with threads of this quality I'm sure we'll be just fine.
  20. Apparently you can't say that with any certainty on here; we didn't prioritise Ramirez and signing him for as much money as we did, didn't mean by any stretch whatsoever we couldn't bring in other better defenders. Simon Peach said so (except when he clearly didn't, that doesn't count).
  21. At least games are getting advertised somewhere.
  22. Who swore that? Whoever it was, they were wrong years before we signed Ramirez.
  23. Internet. Serious business.
