Yes, it has got to me, mainly because that's not a reason to dislike someone. If you can dislike someone for such an asanine reason then that is why there is so much prejudice, racism and facism in this country. And it's ironice that it comes from someone who I assume is dead against all 3 (although with the racism etc that is prevalent in Spains society maybe that explains why you're there). Been a member for 7 years now, so yes it is more of a reason than disliking Gordon Brown. The reason is because my whole family vote Tory, I was brought up well under that and their values and I will be better off under a Tory government.

Economically Thatcher had no choice, the industries were in decline and something had to be done. Of course she wasn't popular doing it, but Tory leaders don't care about beinf popular, they are there to do the job that is needed. She may have caused mass unemployment, but the troubles we face now are more than just unemployment. The benefits system needs a shake up, with benefits being on a sliding scale for the amount of time people are on them. We also need a far more draconian way of dealing with our criminals, because there is no fear of prison any more.
