Radio Solent Interview - Lowe Nov 07

Oh...pretty please..... -
Can someone please help with this? I have been trying to find this online - Lowe did a 2 part Interview with Solent back in November 07 concerning his thoughts on the regime at that time (bear in mind it was Hone etc in charge). Would be interested in hearing his comments again...I seem to remember he declared that he had 'no intention of ever returning'. Ahem... Can anyone find it online? I've tried searching on the BBC iPlayer but no luck so far.

I think what we need is clarity and transparency. When Lowe returned, although not universally supported, I think a very high majority of supporters were willing to give both him and Wilde a clean slate. Unfortunately I feel that they have already ballsed it up - Lowe has not learned from his mistakes (and I felt this from his Radio Solent interview from November 07 when he ranted relentlessly regarding his achievements and how he never wanted to return). I wish I could find that interview online, have trawled through the BBC Archives, perhaps I'm looking in the wrong place but it seems to have been deleted...anyone help?? Wilde really never should have taken the Chairman role, it is obviously a farce from the beginning. TBF I felt from the beginning that in order for them to succeed they should have appointed a CEO and Chairman independently from themselves....not saying Salz, but I feel that personal egos have yet again been top of the agenda....

I thought that it went back a few years...probably before Lowe's tenure began. Think it was debated a bit on the old Forum. Anyone have a better memory than me???

You may well be right Frank, but how out of order would it be if Lowe and Wilde suddenly find money to invest if we hit Admin??? Could well be the type of thing that Crouch could then take the moral ground over...e.g 'You wouldn't invest then but you will now' - perhaps he knows this and that was why he set down the challenge?? Sound business sense on their part...probably. Doesn't make it right though.

Sorry Gem, but I thought that Brunskell was stopped as being the Club's Journo from the Echo because of something he wrote about the club?
-
Empty Word Gob****e? If he had no intention of putting the £2M into the club, then why would he make it clear in a TV interview (The Championship, Swansea game)? In comparison, Lowe has never delivered on anything that didn't involve borrowing. I think it is unfair to put Crouch top of the hate list...my order would be Wilde, Lowe and Crouch... The most hated prize should be avoided by all of them.... The Oscar for how to screw over the City of Southampton goes to.... Guy Askham.

You can be bullied in the workplace in many ways... I worked for a while with an Assistant Manager in a High Street Bank...lazy b11tch she was...would do everything she could to undermine me, as I was seen as a threat to her little running of the office....took credit for things she hadn't done etc etc. P1ssed her right off when I moved to another office and took most of the business...haha.

If Lowe and Wilde had access to any funds themselves, then surely the best time to put it in was when they came back??? I would estimate that they have funds available....but will only put them in when the time is right. I've felt all along that Lowe has a little consortium already lined up for Admin...hence Wilde's decision to share the duvet.

Bob Brunskell??

How about if the 'hack' concerned was the Echo Editor? Would that make things different?

One thing Jonah, Are you going to continue your quest for the truth by also getting the information confirmed regarding Lowe's supposed confrontation with The Echo on Saturday?? Put it this way, and I have no information to go either way on what Duncan has said, I spoke to Mary Corbett during the first march to St Marys and she was very damning in her opinion of Rupert Lowe and said that 'you wouldn't believe some of the things going on at the moment'.. Best left alone though...? Nah. Let's hear all about Rupert and his supposed short temper..it brightens up my Monday to think that he could well be this obnoxious, pompous kn0b that I have always thought he was...
