They simply don't know how to use him. Of all the people who have left, the lack of impact Lambert has had is the worst to see. I'm sure their fans and their coaches see him as an impact sub when they need a goal, so they can hit it long. They don't get him, we did.
Come back Rickie.
So he could erm... be an impact sub?
No place for him anymore sadly.

The swans and hammers are currently 5th and 6th. Essentially 'form' teams and we've beaten them both away.
And thumped West-ham let's not forget and Newcastle (who are one point behind Liverpool who we obviously lost to.) We've beaten some very good teams, just not the traditional big uns yet.

Also, I missed the goal cos of Internets, so gif video pls!
It's in the match thread Bearsy. Also above this post now.

That just proves how utterly ****e their league is.
Pelle was a late bloomer and until now had scored all his goals in a ****e league. Maybe BWP has finally come into his own?

I will admit I never liked him as a comedian, presenter or 'performer'... never thought all that much of his acting roles either.
But having listened to him speak more recently, as much as I have struggled to like him in the past, I have grown to respect his opinions and have challenged some of my own beliefs as a result.
This being a football forum, perhaps the best analogy I can come up with is to play the ball, not the man. Challenge his statements, challenge his opinions, engage in the debate by all means... that is primarily what he is about after all... but leave the lazy personal judgements to one side.
The biggest criticism I have of everything that surrounds Brand at present is actually not a criticism of him personally at all, but of our media in general... it seems the only way to get an audience in our modern society is to be someone that the media wants to give exposure to, or more precisely, thinks they will get viewers/readers from.
This is the problem, he has no substance all he does is "challenge the status quo" which is Brandese for ***** and moan about the very system that sustains him doing nothing concrete to induce change or even forwarding a legitimate idea of how things might be improved.

Poor return.......
He actually had one of the best clear chance conversion rates last I saw.
-
Agreed... he has weaknesses I did not expect from a so-called International keeper. He lacks conviction in the penalty box, decision making is weak and is slow to come off his line. Hopefully, the Watson project will sort him out, but Koeman must see these issues.
For me, Boruc is a better keeper when it comes to the critical areas of goalkeeping, even if he has the odd mad moment.
Foster has been very good, all keepers have weaknesses and Boruc has been at the job for a decade longer. Your last 3 posts have all been to criticize Foster, we get it but I still think you're wrong. I've been very impressed so far.

It'll be Big Sam and thoroughly deserved. Always considered him pretty awful but he has Westham really impressing right now. They have played as well as us and beat some big teams along the way this year.

Reading a city forum
"We really need to find a way around FFP as soon as possible, and sign 2 or 3 players who will actually improve the first team, not just cover for injuries."
They cannot be serious. I used to like City as a team.

How far is Pelle away from a suspension (he asks again)
-
How many yellows for Pelle now, he must be approaching a domestic suspension?
-
Thank god, no extra time (hopefully)
My biggest concern as well.

Get in there! Well deserved
5 minutes ago everyone was saying we were ****e

Go team.

Newcastle winning 2-0. We need to win this, if Man City go out we have a real chance.
Still Chelsea to negotiate.

Why has no-one uploaded the goal yet? I have no stream

Please don't burn out Pelle m'kay?
-
Yep! Dropped my step daughter and boyfriend at Alton Towers and now me and her mum are working through the starter menu with a few beers. Staying at the Holiday inn and Sorted taxi to bring them back later. Hope we have a decent turnout.
Wife and a boyfriend? Luuuuuccckkky.

Young, hungry and guaranteed to improve, yes?
And cheap with his contract situation, don't forget cheap.
-
Well you don't know what my job is, do you?
No, I don't. Hence asking why he told you.
-
That's not what his agent told me...
Ah yes, agents, those bastions of truth and righteousness. They are also known for releasing confidential details of negotiations to people off the street. Reporters I can understand to influence one party or the other but exactly why is he telling you these things?

Air traffic controller = statistically the second highest paying job worldwide. You do have to go through ATC training though. It is also very stress-full (and depressing that studying for seven years will earn you less than an air traffic controller).
Commercial pilots earn a very good living.
Qualified welders can make a killing depending on how they specialise (I think underwater is the highest paying, diving off pipelines etc) and electricians and plumbers despite the rep also make a very good living if they know what they're doing.
