Would love to know the logic behind this one. 
can’t see it had work permit benefits, the league level is way below other clubs 

On the face of it a weird league to buy in 

Keep. Yet to see an alternative version that I think is on par with the current one let alone better 

Frustrating with the window closing on a game night.

imagine getting a backup keeper in is being hampered because Ramsdale is still here, wouldn’t be surprised if we don’t pick up a free transfer keeepr crafter deadline if we don’t shift Ramsdale until after the UK window closes.

Rogers to Chelsea for crazy money and in return Villa spend roughly the same on Garnacho and Jackson from Chelsea. 

So if THB goes and Schlotterbeck and another CB come in to become the starting CB pair, that’ll leave an opening for captain……

As long as we have been consistent with the asking price, then fair enough. Villa and other clubs know what it’ll take to have an offer accepted. What should we do accept a lower offer because it’s a good move for THB, no chance. I’d be saying they obviously didn’t want you that much to pay the asking price. 

So if we had to sell 2 high value players this summer to one cover shortfall in revenue and other to enable signings, and with Charles already gone, which other high value asset would you rather lose, THB or Jander?

Unless you are already at the top clubs in Europe then you can’t keep hold of your best players no matter how much you want to.

look how many more premier league players have left to go to Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal etc this season. 

im sure we want to keep our best players but in reality we aren’t in a position to so it just becomes getting the best price and replacement in you can.

i also think the slowness to trim the squad and bring in cash (outside of Charles) is now holding us back. Charles fee maybe covered the shortfall bit then other sales to be our spending money and with Ramsdale, Suga, Downs, BBD, Sam etc all still here then we are in a position of having to wait to sell now before buying.

Probably more if he isn’t playing at Orient we can recall and send somewhere else 

Change academy and earn alot more money - you can see why they do it, especially when there is no certainty they will even make it.

Surprised we haven’t had a few links to midfielders so far. Be interested to see if we go for a signing or another loan to fill the spot left by Charles

Offer Edozie in a deal for James.

He’s suggesting using the loan market instead and saving the money for next season when hopefully in premier league

I can’t see it being much tonight, I expect all the questions will be around spygate and then will run out time for anything worthwhile. 

Goztepe seem to be doing well at buying forwards cheap and selling on for good profits 🙄

Thought the spurs manager wanted to see him in pre season before deciding what to do with him.

The bigger brands just do templates and clubs seem to accept it. Hummel still the best imo 

The plain back I don’t understand, given you can have stripes?! Wish someone could ask why we go for the block.

The kids will be ok as it’ll look better with name and number in the block.

Hopefully the away kits are a bit more custom and adventurous

Assuming we were actually interested in first place. Was only some Sky journalist who said we were. It’s silly season, stories will come out to push the actual interested club into action.

But there are no guarantees for academy players that they are going to make it at a good level so you can’t blame them for taking 2-3 years of a much higher wage at clubs like Chelsea knowing you are very likely to leave in a few years
