so if i got something that was 1080i, because it was cheaper, would it still be an hd picture?

i posted this on the lcd thread, but it got a bit lost i understand Full HD is 1080p. HD Ready is1080i. so - if something is 1080i, how does it get proper HD?

that's not the case with any gap insurance ive ever had. it pays the difference, irrespective of whose fault it was, up to the policy limit, provided you didn't write it off deliberately/fraudulently etc

im not an expert, but i imagine they pay glasses book price, plus or minus whatever they feel like depending on which way the wind is blowing
