i think the PL are praying that its taken out of their hands, either by the WUO next week, or by them getting relegated they are in serious **** street if neither of those happen, as pompey would be back as an almost viable concern at that point

we just booked somewhere in turkey. 4 star, all inclusive, was the same price we paid 2 years ago for 3 star self catering in kos. £1650, for 4 of us. how the **** does that work:confused:

i had a massive cull of facebook "friends" a couple of months ago, and then realised i hardly had any left:D most of my real friends are not on facebook, thats what the pub and the golf club were invented for down to about 13 now, and that includes wife and children, and most of them are their friends not mine i dont see why i should have to "connect" with people when the only thing ive got in common with them is an internet connection now linkedin, thats different. i am a linkedin addict

anyone hear the leader of portsmouth council on sky sports about 12.30 today? he did a live interview with the studio, said they had been asked to support the club, they had looked at paying their £7.5m tax bill, but they "could not lend public money without any prospect of it ever being repaid". he said all the assets the club had had all had loans secured against them, and "their was nothing else left for us to secure a loan against" he said the only other option was for it to be a gift, and that was not something that could be done with public money he was adamant though that the planning regulations meant that anyone who owns fratton park has to keep it as a staduim, and that the rules were as tight as they could be to prevent anyone developing the land for housing or retail. he did also say though, when pushed, that this can always be overturned by the secretary of state
