RM was asked about Ross Stewart during the interview at AFC Totton. (See MLG thread)
Suggested he was raring to go, would do well, but would be eased into things gently initially.
I hope he means during pre-season and not the actual season.

Also MLG, you virtually disappear from the radar during our championship season except for occasional comments.
But now we are back in premier league your posting like you've never been away.
I think you are out first glory supporter so congrats

Early start this morning not what’s needed after the final last night but lots to be done. Busy few days ahead 6.20am Monday morning flight As need to be at location bright and early for a VERY important and exciting development.
That’s all I can say for now
Checked the airports and the only 6.20am flight i could find was to these 2 sexy destinations
If I had to guess I'd opt for Cagliari and Matteo Prati - DM - 20yrs old rated 10m

best team won, its been extremely painful watching eng this tournament relying on big moments from players rather than having a plan on how we play. If spain had lost it would of been an injustice as eng got lucky every game and had an easy draw to the final and still struggled.
Hopefully we now get a manager who can implement a playing style that the players play week in and week out in the premier league as we have the players to win big competitions just need to exploit that.
Fortunately for the us we already play like spain so i see us winning the premier league this year.

Look the 1 surprising stat that no one mentioned, everyone has been banging on about lamine yamal being so young he was only 16 when this tournament started etc etc but i saw last night he's got a kid already
Obvs not that young

My prediction 2-0 england
Kane and Bellingham (purely cos he will have 500 shots from halfway line onwards trying to show off to the spanish).

My dream scenario would be for Kane to get a late winner today. Deserves it after all the slander he gets.
Warranted criticism for his tournament performances is now classed as slander ?, we all want him to score or set someone up but when he's not doing the runs the team needs and starts playing as a 8 instead of the striker we need who are saka and foden et al meant to pass to in the box.

Seems fair enough if the lad, he's been ripping through his age groups like his razors, fast and wanted what we had paid previous players.
We said no so he moves to someone who will, fair play to him.

Dubravka was pretty awful for Newcastle 2nd half of last season, hence why they have signed other backup keepers.
They had a run at some stage where almost every shot on target was going in and some fans were calling for an Academy keeper to replace him.

Ok decided to be a bit more productive, went to the AZ forum for their feedback on suzuki yuki.
They think we are getting a great deal for 6-7mil they think they should of got over 10 for him.
"Statistical player of the month, statistically best back of the eredevise at the moment".
- Nearly 200 games in AZ 1st team.
- Including 50 European matches.
Also as an aside, are AZ an underrated money making factory, some of the players from their recently:
- koopmeiners (14mil forum favourite from a few years ago and proves we know midfielders)
- Pavlidis (another forum shout out, he's just gone this month for 25mil to Benfica)
- Jahanbaksh - brighton wasted 22mil on and currently without club
- Janssen - spurs wasted 22mil on
- Reijnders - AC Milan 19 mil

Is this the point in the window when the lilly-livered start complaining we’re getting relegated as we’re not signing our main transfer targets? Out of interest, at what point in the window do we actually start getting worried? Is the current team capable of surviving? What else do we need as essentials? For me it’s Downes or a equal/better replacement and a striker equal/better than Adams - everything else is nice to have.
hadn't seen it in a while and love this term (honorary mention for toe the line as well), for those far afield whose google translate has a shit fit this is what it means.
"From the medieval belief that the liver was the seat of courage, and the pale color of the lily flower. A person who had no blood in their liver would have no courage and would thus be a coward."

Yukinari Sugawara continues his career at Southampton, so know Football International and Fabrizio Romano. The defender of AZ has been linked to the English doctoral candidate for some time, but after an agreement between the clubs, the transfer seems to be finally coming.
Sugawara will travel to England on Wednesday to be inspected at his new club. Once he has passed it, the left back will also immediately sign a contract until mid-2028. An official announcement cannot be long in coming after that.
Expect the white smoke on his signing tomorrow i guess.

I'd like a proper left winger, a proper left back and palmer somewhere.

Is there a rule that we have to include a reference to sushi in a song because he's Japanese?
I wonder if international clubs who sign English players have similar conversations on their forums about including something about fish and chips in their chants.
