Guys we did this last championship window when we were relegated. we were shit and got better once the squad was settled. Any demands for change of manager after 5 games is kneejerk in the extreme. Still very unhappy with first half, 2nd half much better. Needs to find way to give forwards better chances.

Fairplay portsmouth did the job on us today but as has already been mentioned, our team new, disjointed and couldnt be worse time to face them. Charles was my MOM for us. Thought the CB's werent "brave" enough in the first half to play that tight ball into CM's to try and break the press and always went over the top, that seemed to change in the 2nd half. Strikers still a concern, would prefer stewart starting. Like what i saw from Jander, outches and he was significantly advance of charles, way more than downes does and i like Leo going down like bonnie blue.

Disappointed the full backs didnt get up the pitch a bit more, think manning is not direct enough either passing or running for this team. Disjointed with the new players but i can see hope, expect the next 5 games to be a real improvement. Also shout out to armstrong showing archer exactly what was needed as a nusiance harrying CF.
