29 in November, his game is based alot around workrate and running, these things tend to start to decline once a player gets past 30. There are a few exceptions, like James Milner, maybe he could be one. But no way is he a £40m player regardless of our FM experts claiming he is because he's got 3 years left on his contract.
like milner JWP is the king of the bleep test again so maybe he has the endurance to perform longer into old age

Preferred Ruben Vinagre, but hopefully Manning can do a great job for us. From what I have read he's better gong forward than defensively. Not sure he is terribly quick, which I personally feel is essential for top class full backs, but we're in the championship now, so need to temper expectations. In terms of individual quality, we are bound to get worse this summer, but I just wonder if Manning might actually be better than Perraud. Hope so.
Lets not get carried away chez, we need to see his crossing ability - his stats say he can cross the ball but can he do it for us.

Before we get too carried away apparently they need to put 17m into VAFC today to become owners - so some of that will be ear marked- gotta assume some of that also could go to our turkish brothers as well.

Let me tell you
Heerenveen are my 35th team i follow and let me say that this man will cook in the championship and yes pierre is his dad so expect him to go on strike at somepoint.
But seriously thiago motta bolgna coach just told him he doesnt count on him for this season for bolgna even though he banged them in,hence teams now being interested, could be a decent price as well.

I'll believe it more from a better source.
I hope nor to piss on anyone's corn flakes but I imagine Leicester are alot more Appealing right now or a premier league outfit.

I can't see Swansea selling anyone to us. We've burned a few bridges playing hardball over peanuts.
Based on what I know of the American owners they like making money and not spending money so if they have one we want they will sell and spend 1/4 on the replacement

Burnley are paying 14mil with add ons for him so lets see how he gets on if he starts as he's more expensive than baz.

Is it me or did Fonte push to leave saints as he wanted a longer contract west ham offered and we wouldnt.

Not read this thread but Edozie in some games was one of of our better players and in others the among the worst - but he was 19yrs old playing in his first senior football and cost feck all so i dunno what people expect.
I expect him to look more polished v championship defenders after a season of going against the best and we start see more end product.

You know you’re old when you’ve never heard of the players we’re now being linked with. 😢
Bro so your saying you'd heard of pahars, Delgado and saganowski before we signed them.

Great to see all these links coming in suddenly. Seems like we are getting to work now finally. I expect we will see a lot of movement next week.
its cos rasmus and henrik are in france bothering them so wilcox can crack on without having to send excel spreadsheets everyday.

We are linked with some experienced (not crap) players, Downes, Piroe, Grimes, Manning...
The issue is that you can't buy high quality experienced players, cos they are too expensive. Lavia without experience £10m, Lavia with experience £50m.
Lavia worked. Baz didn't. Orsic, Onuachi, Aribo and the many experienced pros already at the club certainly didn't work out.
It's a lower division. So the standard is lower, so the young players have more chance of shining straight away.

I've lived in a load of countries around the world and still do but I've never lived in Southampton.
