Spot on. I think adkins is trying to be too clever in this league and in danger of making himself look Like a mug. I don't think he'd drop Lambert for this as for defending corners etc he's as good as anyone defending.

Puncheon is a fab player to have when we are up because he can carry ball away from danger, as for taking lambert off it for the first time made me question the managers long term credentials. Absolutely. First Matty was a better footballer more skilful and a greater range of passing and when he was younger could go past players. Played for us from 17-32 all in the prem single handily keeping us up a number of years and was loyal when he could have gone anywhere. Lambert has been the best since as Matty says but hardly even played at top flight yet and only here just over 3 years doesn't compare.

I love lambert but he isn't in the same universe in terms of what le tiss did for our club. Get you're facts right too, he didn't leave his wife for Marilyn in home and away that was a long time after.
