Blimey, I've never had a problem with them, they do seem a bit odd on that forum (even by SWF standards).
Apparently it is hilariously tinpot to occasionally show videos of the FA Cup winning goal. No doubt if they ever got anywhere near winning silverware, they'd just play it cool and never even mention it.

Bolton are a cluster **** of a club these days. I'm assuming they'll be handed a fairly significant punishment for postponing today.
-
Well done to them - can only be good for Southampton FC as a whole.
What league are they in to now (any other big-ish teams?) or are they expected to walk the league again next season?

I see Donald Trump will be visiting Portsmouth as part of his state visit. Nice subtle way of letting him know that Brits really hate him.
-
Well done Pompey, they're basically up. Can't see tjem throwing it away.
-
I have a feeling that after today, the gap between us and Cardiff will either be 2 points or 8 points.

# Trousers pedantry klaxon #
Since Hasenhuttl took over, we've amassed 24 points. In the same timeframe, Wolves have got 25 points. So, in terms of form over the last 4 months, we're pretty much equals at this moment in time.
What you mean is, despite our massive up turn in form, they are still better than is, and this will be a very tough game.

Congratulations to Pompey. Genuinely happy for them.
They've had to fend off stiff competition from the likes of Grimsby, Accrington Stanley and Swansea's u21s to win the cup, battling against the adversity of almost every single one of their fans boycotting the competition on principle of how worthless and tintop it is.
Let's hope they also win at Wembley in the play - offs. Would be nice to have a chance to play them again one day, and the 3rd round of the FA Cup is likely to be our best chance.

We are not 100% down. But it is 100% mental to think we're 100% safe. We could be back in the bottom 3 this time next week.

6 points?
That would mean Cardiff City getting 11 points and a huge difference in GD(-15 to -30) from...
Chelsea (home)
Man City (away)
Burnley (away)
Brighton (away)
Liverpool (home)
Fulham (away)
Crystal Palace (home)
Man Utd (away)
Very hard to see them capable of doing that!
Perhaps I'm being cautious, but I wouldn't right them iff just yet. Shocks aren't that uncommon in the Premier League and I wouldn't be surprised to see them beat at least one of the "big" teams. Possibly Chelsea given their unpredictability this season. And Liverpool will have gone off the boil by the time they play them . Wouldn't be that surpsied 8f they beat Fulhamv(relegated) , Burnely (in a scrap) and Palace (probably on the beach).

That’s got to be us pretty much safe now, playing well, getting wins. I was worried about goals but midfield seem to be stepping up.
I look forward to the summer re-build under Ralph.
Still think we need another 5-6 points.

If he wasn't a Cardiff player, were Cardifff tapping him up by laying on a flight for him?

Looks like we won in a friendly vs QPR

AUSTIN, Gallagher and Vokins scores. Was this a closed door job or or did anyone go??
Forster also played.

Crikey, he must've needed a big condom to stuff that much cocaine up his bum.

Don’t you mean kicking lumps out of people? Don’t you remember Pele getting kicked out of the World Cup? Thankfully that doesn’t happen so much now.
Same also happened in Escape to Victory.

1971 apparently.
anyway draw been made. i do think its slightly suspicious how the 4 favourites for the trophy have been kept apart, if i was a conspiracist.
Ajax vs Juve
Liverpool vs Porto
Spurs vs City
Barcelona vs Man United
Wouldn't personally call Porto one of the favorites.

Done some calculations on how likely the English teams are to be drawn against each other in the Champions League quarter-finals:
Probability of AT LEAST 2 English teams meeting each other in the CL quarter-finals = 3/7 + 4/7 x 2/5 + 4/7 x 3/5 x 1/3 = 77.1%
Probability of ALL 4 English teams MEETING each other in the quarter-finals = 3/7 x 1/5 = 8.57%
Probability of ALL 4 English teams AVOIDING each other in the quarter-finals = 4/7 x 3/5 x 2/3 x 1/1 = 22.9%
Probability of LIVERPOOL being drawn against either Man Utd or Man City = 2/7 = 28.6%
Assumption: Draw is entirely random.
Really fascinating stuff.

I'm sure someone will be along to tell me that is the same every year that we get knocked out of the FA Cup early, but when was the last time we had such a long gap between games in the middle of the season? I don't remember it happening often.
Have we ever had longer?

It's big, but christ what a boring, bland, unlived in property that is.
Except the beds, which look like they were made by a 6 year old asked to tidy his room.
-
Just looked at the form table for the last 10 games. They are in 21st position, having gained 1 less point than crisis club Bradford and just one point more than the worst 3 clubs (Rochdale, Southend and Accrington Stanley).

Funnily enough, a pet hate of mine is people who don't understand that the rule that the whole of the ball needs to be over a line applies everywhere on the pitch, not just the goalline.

Does this guy ever stop? Deserves much more credit (and money!) than he gets!

I occasionally see posts on Facebook about the women's team and notice they are now on a 10 game winning streak. But how good are they? How does the league structure work for women (E.g. Is it possible for them to reach the top flight? If so, how many promotions would be required?).
Where do they even play? Do many people watch? What's their biggest crowd? Are they professional? Do they train at Staplewood?

He's apparently been on ITV's Good Morning Britain throughout this morning.
There are regular updates on Facebook on the Benali's Iron Fran page. He's on the bike now.
