Remember this night - one of my favourite as a Saints fan probably for all the wrong reasons... wee Gordon strachan walking past me, the amazing atmosphere, the goal at our end and everything great about what was English football, I was there!
Tonight I arrive at Düsseldorf airport en route to Milan, one of three grounds on my bucket list including Barcelonas and the round one in Brazil. I never dreamt I would do one with Saints.

He's the only on the pitch because Bertrand got injured. Otherwise he was being rested. My point is, our main left back gets injured because as usual the England camp prefer a lesser player who plays for a bigger club !! (Or not)!

So you're complaining that England favour lesser players that play for bigger clubs because a better player that plays for a lesser club was picked to start?

Oriol Romeu has praised Claude Puel’s meticulous work in keeping the side energised so far this season.
The necessary rotation of the squad due to a busy fixture schedule saw Puel return to the starting XI that defeated West Ham United at King Power Stadium on Sunday before the international break.

I can't tell if it's supposed to be a joke or not given the so called boycott , but has anyone seen the tweet for the Official Pompey twitter feed saying "the atmosphere is building" before KO with pictures of empty stands all round...no doubt they actually sold 20000 tickets really.

Alledgedly knew his players were gambling on their own games. Clearly not while at Saints though given they apparently had nothing to play for at the end of a season.

Hapoel Beer Sheeva's tannoy announcer is doing a great job at getting the crowd going. Should Saints try and emulate this when playing at SMS by occasionally shouting stuff during the game?

You can either risk taking him to Italy for a game he won't be old enough to appreciate and which may never get bettered.
Or take him on the cheap to Turf Moor and pretty much every away day for the rest of his life will be better than that.
