I went down to Cornwall Friday to see my dad who was 80 for a family get together, so we all went out for a meal in the evening, however later in the evening there was a couple there celebration her 50th, anyway we got talking and found out that he had travelled down that day from Pompey, so i jokingly said you don't support Pompey do you, to which he replied its worse than that i used to play for them, so i asked him what he thought of the trust bid, his reply was, they haven't got any spare money to buy players let alone pay them, (never stopped them in the past though has it), so even he thinks they are dead ducks, Dont ask me for his name as i will not give it out, so there you go an ex Pompey players view on the Trust bid,

PFC lived life to the max, That’s because they paid no tax. Down the leagues the bestest did fall, Let’s pack the park was the call, Now Fratton Park had plenty of space, As they sank down the league without a trace, PUP was the shout, The CWTB he is a lout, Court cases came and court cases went, The PST team had hardy a cent, Chinny has said he wants his cash, If he gets his money he’ll be off in a flash, Agent Birch has done his Job, To keep away the hungry mob, Down to league two its odds on to go, For the bestest fans it’s a bit of a blow, Crowds will dwindle that’s for sure, The bestest fans will be demure, The ground will become a new superstore, Poor old Fratton will be no more.

Now when they decide for the next court date, and against all the odds they find in favour for the trust, can Chinny appeal, or is that it,
-
Now what are the odds that Thursday court case is delayed again,

[ Separately, heard from someone today who has had dealings with Pompey in the past (not a great deal of money but club officials always wanted to pay by cash!!!) that Pompey leave Stoneham Lane owing a considerable 6 figure sum.Not sure if anyone can verify this but, if correct, might put a different spin on the evacuation from the Training Ground. I have always been comforted by the fact that our fan base is relatively tolerant. Can you imagine the issues if Saints had a training base in the PO post code!! Pompey were paying 1 month in advance and if they missed one month they were out because of all the hassle last time, so they really did pull out or didnt pay one month and got thier marching orders.

My son is having a gap year in Australia, starting in Melbourne, working for a while and travelling around working for a bit ( you get the drift), As he is starting in Melbourne any recommendations of the best place to find work to start with, he has trained as a Barista, so he will start in coffee houses, he is willing to turn his hand at anything, Sevvy
