I dont know ask Pardy:smt118 On -6 after 6 games dusnee sond like (Drinks all round) to me:D
Pardew is still building the team unlike Hart who is dismantling his. We will get better and you will get worse. Let Hart keep his job I say.

Was exactly what I was going to say.
If the like of 9/11 can be planned and executed in America - it can happen anywhere in the world. That is why our guys are currently in Afghanistan.
It is interesting to note as well that there are lots of countries Armed Forces currently serving over there (Germany, Denmark and the like) that (for political reasons) wouldn't normally serve in these hot spots. They are there now though - because they too understand the very real threat of another 9/11.
43 countries are currently serving in Afghanistan including most european countries and all the major players in world politics.

'monday night footbal saved my life'
Well I was at crib and forgot to record it. Would of been interesting to watch. Someone posted a link on the programme but that is not working, never mind.

and qualify for the World Cup finals...?
is there anyone English daft enough to want them through..?
a big fat NO from me
Nothing to do with your dislike for George Burley?
I want all British teams to go through just like I support all British sports people. One thing is for sure if Scotand do qualify then they won't be winning the world cup just like England won't.

Pardew is not a good manager. What he has been at times is a lucky manager.
This was certainly true at Reading where he had the resources at his disposal to go out and buy his way out of trouble. For instance, both Jamie Cureton and Anthony Rougier were bought to cover injuries for Nicky Forster and Martin Butler leaving him with the firepower to blast his way out of league 1 (Division 2 as it was then). Even that opportunity was nearly blown. Reading fluffed the play-off final in 2001, and the following season drew something like 11 games on the trot at the end of the campaign blowing a good lead in the title race to just scrape up in second place thanks to a late Cureton equaliser at Brentford.
The following season Reading finished in a play-off position in the Championship. Very admirable except much of that was achieved by playing one up front for most of the campaign, namely Nicky Forster, who was ligthening quick had the season of his life.
The luck ran out in the play-off semi final Wthat year (Forster was deliberately crocked at Wolves), and Pardew legged it to West Ham the following September.
Once again it was the relatively large resources at West Ham that eventually got them back in to the Premiership, winning the play-off final against Preston after defeat in Cardiff the previous season. Without Bobby Zamora's winning goal he'd have been sacked then.
So just run me through how Reading and West Ham were not succesful then without one player you mention, surely it is about eleven players ffs.

I wonder whether people have changed their opinions on this piece of work yet???

Yep guilty before charged, I'm sure the female in question is not after some mega storyline in the papers.

For Christ sake how can you say give AP two years. So if that were for instance two years without a win that's ok is it?
I am perplexed by the number of number of happy clappies on here at the moment. Yes give him time but don't bury your head in the sand!
I'm sure most on here will see some wins soon, happy clappies or not a manager needs time to gel his team. Maybe you should bury your head in the sand and someone kick your arse when we have the first win under our belt.

Me!
Why, please explain

The Johnstone's Paint Trophy draw is tomorrow and Saints will be drawn against one of the following:
AFC Bournemouth
Aldershot Town
Exeter City
Hereford United
Northampton Town
Swindon Town
Torquay United
Who would you prefer to play in the next round? Personally I'd like to get Aldershot, but each and every team in that short list are beatable, so there's no reason why we can't progress to the next round and carry on further.
Aldershot would be good for me but Exeter and Torquay are out of the equation due to shift work.
-
Not Swindon, ive been there!
Well at least you will know the way next time.
-
Quite refreshing that we can actually turn bids down now, ( for whatever reason ) ... don't you think ???? ......
In the past, Lowe would have been rushing round to the Buying Club with a tin to put the cash in .........
What's this got to do with Lowe ffs? Did we never buy players under Lowe as well as sell? You need to get a life SaintRichmond as you are seriously obsessed, move on like we have.

Anyone remember that little girls dress they did a few seasons back it was gross, hope nobody got that as a present.
No I didn't, thank christ for that
-
A Saints double duvet set, great present if you're a kid, when its for your 21st however...
That ain't so bad, don't think the wife would like it though.
-
Maybe the players do have two? :-)
Talking of DVD's why would anyone buy last seasons for?
It would of been better to release the 50 best saints throwins.
Has anyone bought it or would anyone admit to buying it?
-
Good score posted 246/5. Vince out for 93 off 95 balls, Dawson not out 69 off 56 balls.
Both played very well and with a combined age of less than Dominic Cork lol.
-
Wright got released because he was dire, ive honestly never seen a player in a saints shirt so unfit and inept in my life, im amazed at how hes still even a pro or even became a pro!
And you should of gone to specsavers, there was a lot of players at fault over the last few years not just one. Still your blinkered vision won't see that.
-
you say wright wanted to play..i will never forget (or forgive) watching him not bother running with his man (he just stopped and gave up) when we lost a game at home...that was not the action of someone wanting to play for us.
im sure you will make an excuse for that, or even forgive it..
Wright gave his all in most games I saw and that was a lot of games, not the most gifted player no but for you to select one game shows your limited knowledge.

5pm
all shut now.
im sure announcements will trickle out over the evening though. - every single club has been pretty quiet in all honesty, a pretty much non-day in english football.
Hyped up for no reason.
Which is why I didn't bother and instead spent quality time (and money) in town with my daughter.
-
Remeber the season he scored ten in ten was rewarded with a contract and has been lets face it very poor ever since. How can a player of clear ability show such a lack of effort?
He was playing for a contract that season, once he got it he didn't seem like the same player.
-
He's shorter than Gillett
And lighter, in fact invisible

I'd say saga joining county indicates all is not good at saints.
Once again it seems we are being shackled by restrictive wage caps.
Maybe we don't want to pay over the odds for a player who clearly is only in it for the money. As much as I like the player good riddance I say, greed is not welcome at our club.
-
If it is for money, seeing as he's already on near on 10k p/w here, Notts County are heading for disaster if they're offering him alot more.
I cannot believe the wages they are dishing out in L2, they are swinging with the future of that club.
It's fair enough spending those wages top end of the champ, or in the prem - but surely there's no justification in L2?
Makes a farce of that ''supposed'' wage cap too.
Did you miss the bit where they were taken over by billionaires? Will take a long time to spend all that money even in the premiership (unless it's my daughter spending the money)
-
Worcester going at nearly 9 an over, not looking good.

Unusually for once I agree with Andy Gray......or maybe it's that he agrees with me
http://www.skysports.com/opinion/story/0,25212,12064_5520431,00.html
Yep I agree as well. Where do you draw the line? These things happen every day at numerous games, charging one player means you have to charge hundreds of players every week otherwise it can be seen as victimisation against Eduardo.

So are you saying he is guilty then?
