Ok so i am accussed of derailing every thread, but you can show me no examples? Ok I got a PM recently, i wont name the poster but it said.... "Hi Glasgow, you are a very good poster in my view and thank you for posting. Do you ever get tired of the abuse from the handful of posters that follow you from thread to thread?" My reply was this No i dont get tired as i dont take it personally.... Every poster that isnt postive all the time gets abuse - there are no exceptions on here!! We have been knocked out of both cups and won just 4 in 17 in the league.... But youre still not allowed to question mopo or any of the players........ opinions are allowed as long as its positive..... See.hear.speak

No im open minded, but saying and showing is very different... I have asked a number of times for examples of my aggressive and "troll" posts but never get shown any.... Perhaps youd be good enough to back up your views and posts with some evidence?

All posters on swf that are classified "negative" are also "trolls" or "wums" i cant think of one exception on here. Coincidence? People dont like hearing the truth, they want to come on here and read about how we had more possesion and shots on target and only lost b'cos of a bad referee... Soon as an alternative is offered and someone (a troll) offers a differnt explanation everyone goes nuts and crying foul. "Mods please ban this guy, he is making me upset with his nasty words" Its an odd one.... Eventually the forum will be left with no opinions just threads like "wed be top if it wasnt for Mark Clattenburg" and "can mopo manage england, argentina, real madrid and saints at same time" people come to a forum to debate and discuss, but all alternative views should be banned!? Those that just want fluffy stats, excuses, smiley player pics and news should try the OS?

This does kinda remind me of when Justin Timberlake made the switch from signing to acting, people laughed and said he would fail..... Justin Timberlake is now one of the worlds best actors and signers, so is proof it can be done. My main worry is - succesful or not, how settled will he be? His heart is clearly with his ice hockey and if/when ice hockey offers come again will he simply jump ship?

I think youre just trying to argue for the sake of it? I was asked for a possible replacement, i gave a name (Javier Aguirre) and a few reasons why. You have tried to turn that into a Javier Aguirre vs mopo vs Adkins arguement?

Umm no not really. Over the summer Espanyol lost/sold a number (12-14) of good players (we didnt) Javier signed half a dozen players for peanuts while we spent nearly £40m

Im ambivalent on mopo right now, didnt like his approach to the cups and dont buy into the mopo to Real Madrid super manager overhype. I predicted high 6th to low 10th this season so as it stands we are neither under nor over my expectations. I like some of the high tempo stuff, but that come at a price it seems. Ultimately its not sustanable unless your squad is packed with quality (barcelona) For me the form of late has been poor - 4 wins in 17 and knocked out of both cups.....

How about Javier Aguirre? He took over from the great mopo when Espanyol were rock bottom of la liga. He turned them around, kept them up and now has them sitting nicely in mid table. Espanyol are playing some great football with a very very average squad

Thank you for the reasoned response - i appreciate that. Like you say, all supposition.... But isnt everything until mopo leaves or signs a new contract? In the meantime we just speculate. I have not seen many signs to suggest he will stay beyond the summer and not seen anyone offer much either?

Any evidence mopo does have his heart in it? No transfers in Jan, the FA cup, Nicola leaving, spurs link, osvaldo, mopos body language, fans backlash to FA cup, still not learnt English, no new contract offer or talks, doesnt commit beyond the end of season in any interviews + our recent form and reported fall out with players after the Sunderland defeat......
