Osvaldo doesn't fit our system! Can't think of many that would?

Didnt you say the same about Lambert? Lallana? Morgan? They were all playing in league 1 few years back........ You are effectively righting off all players from the lower leagues? Rhodes is the best goal scorer in the championship, he's also very young. Has he not earnt a chance in the prem same as Morgan, Adam and Rickie?

Under mopo we dont create many clear cut chances, youre right with that. So for a team that doesnt create many chances - what do you need?

You offer that in a sarcastic fashion, but what is wrong with Rhodes? He has scored 43 in 68 for an average Blackburn side and out scored Rickie in league 1 and the championship. He's also younger than Osvaldo and alot cheaper in fees, wages and attitude. If youre going to mock, try harder as Rhodes is a top player. 110 goals in his last 200 games, he could step up to the prem imho

I agree... 844 minutes of absolutely nothing, but 30 seconds of skill trumps all that! Some peeps are very easily pleased!

Mopo has shown (twice) that he cannot manage the squad. All is good when we have a full strengh squad, but not so good once we lose one or two. I think the only way we will be succesful under mopo is if we have very decent back up in every position. is that possible?

I think it will be the clearest message so far. NC will have worries like we all do - 1) Osvaldo (mopo signing, done nothing) 2) Ramirez (NC signing that mopo is not getting much from) 3) Recent poor form 4) Recently leaked mopo depature stories 5) No contract discussions or offer 6) No Jan Transfers 7) Mark Clattenburg fiasco 8 ) Mopo still cant speak English 9) * RDM an option from the summer *

NC thinks our squad is good enough for top 8 (I do too) and is therefore unwilling to spend more until mopo proves his worth / delivers on targets. There are doubts on both sides at the moment - mopo has the leaked rumours about leaving in the summer and NC has the more more subtle vote of "confidence" by not offering or discussing a new or extended contract. Get the feeling NC is playing the waiting game - no more money, you’ve had enough - target still stands (top deliver and you can spend more in the summer – fail and you’re fired. Sensible in a way as if NC has doubts why load up with mopo targets (like Osvaldo) who may not fit the new mans (RDM’s) plans!!

Loose lips sink ships - mopo should be careful about who he speaks to as news spreads like wildfire. Pressuming mopo spoke to someone he trusted and its now linked to the press..... He is now back tracking faster than an Italian tank. Im from the old skool where there is no smoke without fire. Q) Why would the italian press pick on mopo and make this up? especially during the transfer window where they can makeup some transfer rumours if they feel inclined. Body language is a worry and he looks slightly bamboozled. Hope this doesnt affect us saturday

Avram is widely and rightfully ridiculed for his time at Pompey and WHU...... I can understand why. However his win % during that time is almost identical to mopos Avram did get Pompey to an FA cup final too

We have got half way through the season with next to no contribution from Osvaldo.... Perhaps we can survive the other half and re-invest in the summer? With or without Osvaldo we are going to finish around 8-12th imho

mopo can hardly moan about backing - he spent more than most in the summer and inherited a very very good squad + weve sold nobody. he's had it much easier than most prem managers.....
