Its ironic how they are the victims but all most do on here is bleat about how 'they took all of our players....boo hoo'
Some people just wont let it go.
Maybe on the Celtic forum there is a thread crying about how we took all of their players.
Unlikely especially considering that we took Forster off their hands.

To be fair, anyone who used to post regularly in the Lounge and TMS headed that way. There is still more football related snippets on here, however you have to wade through an increasing morass of ****e to find it. Which is a shame.

Asking fans to submit their preferred choice of badge. Time for us to help our fishy friends out?
No 6 is terrible - we should go for that one

There was a load of info you were going to reveal on 1 Sept though, right?
I thought he said he would only do this if the bell end left

Given that it seems to be the kiss of death for the players tenure at Saints, I'd give the captaincy to someone we want to get shot of.

Raffles, yeah, remind me where that was? The Old Oriental? Or was it below the Dog and Duck?
Next to East Street multi-storey. You made sure you behaved when they worked the door.

If he wanted to go to Wembley, then maybe he should buy a season ticket and then he would have been entitled to go.

Tuesday 14th February (9am) – Official Members who have purchased AT LEAST FOUR home fixtures from the 2016/17 season.
Wednesday 15th February (9am) – Official Members who have purchased AT LEAST THREE home fixtures from the 2016/17 season.
Thursday 16th February (9am) – Official Members who have purchased AT LEAST TWO home fixtures from the 2016/17 season.
Phew, I was getting worried about the distraction that would be caused by Sydenhampton's impending class action

An absolute abysmal window by the club. We needed a central defender and a goal scorer and we end up with a keeper and a forward who has never scored more than 10 in a season.
What worries me about Gabbiadini is that he is 25 and with limited skills to be developed. He isn't that kind of raw material we have signed earlier. And by not signing a central defender we will be in a real mess in the summer when we will need to rebuild with 2 new central defenders after VVD leaves. And due to the injury of VVD we are in a mess now as well team wise.
I think it is clear that the focus is elsewhere at the moment. We are looking too much into investment/selling the club and are loosing our place as first challenger to the top 6.
Eight hours in and already our new striker is ****e. That's has to be a record even for this place.

And he does as he's told.
If that is true, you had better give credit where credits due and start a Les appreciation thread.

Eddie Izzard ran 27 marathons in 27 consecutive days.
They're paid an obscene amount of money to be fit, and to be able to play numerous amounts of games.
Players want to play.
What they don't want, is to put a decent shift in, perform well, then be dropped the next game for 'rotation' reasons only.
It's a crock of *****.
That is a poor comparison
He took 5hr 30 mins to run each one - hardly elite level performance. I m sure that if our players jogged along at 50% effort they could then play every day, but we would be ****ted 25-0 every game. There is a reason why managers kick off every time the schedule backs up - High intensity activity needs proper recovery otherwise it leads to sub par performance and / or injury.
Of course a few fat blokes down the pub know better.

Give me a P......

Former Celtic kitman confesses to sexual abuse:
What irritates me about this article is that it is all about him - "cleanse my soul" " haven't had a good nights sleep in ages" "I feel unburdened"
Well f*cking bully for you, you sick f*ck - shame that all the poor sods you put through that experience wont be able to cast off the effects so easily.

For comparisons sake, the Telegraph delves into Toby A's release clause: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2016/12/06/spurs-confident-new-deal-toby-alderweireld-25m-release-clause/
We should drop £25m on the table for a laugh

I don't think it is the money that is at issue, more the length of contract. However, he is only likely to get two year deal elsewhere.
i would give him until end of next week to sign, otherwise tell him that he will see out his contract and at his old wage

A lower league team so we can give them a proper humping and get our strikers used to the concept of scoring again

What's 'potential libel' then? I don't normally do this and I agree with a libellous statement being a ban but what is 'potential libel'? Any statement can have the potential but how can you ban someone for it as it doesn't exist. It's like potential winning of the lottery or potential dangerous driving.
Sorry I'm quite a stickler for these things.
I would say that potential libel is something that maybe not prove to be libellous however is sailing close enough to the wind that the site owners become uncomfortable with the risk. It is completely subjective therefore you probably won't get a clearer answer than i have just given.

Still can't see why we persist with Forster. Nosiree

What privileges does he get?
If you get the London freedom you can drive a flock of sheep over London bridge and the rozzers are obliged to get you home if they find that you are too drunk to manage it yourself

Only as part of a police investigation

Just a quick mention for how well this trip went.
Having never heard of 'Sport Options' before I was a bit dubious as to their credentials but I have to say how professionally and efficiently the whole trip was run. From the check in at Bournemouth Airport at 5:30 am, to the airport transfers, to the return journey arriving back bang on time at half past midnight, the whole day ran like clockwork. The way we wafted effortlessly and swiftly through Bergamo airport on the way home it almost felt like we were travelling on our own private jet service. (with the added bonus of arriving back at the same time as the players!)
Ok, so the price is never going to be competitive with DIY trips (this was £269 per person if I remember correctly) but for such a hassle free door-to-door service it was worth the extra pennies IMO.
I'm not normally one to write reviews like this but I felt the quality of the trip was worthy of being highlighted in case anyone else has any similar doubts about doing something similar in the future.
I would second that - great service and would definitely use again

They would just get a safe seat MP to resign with a promise of a peerage and put her in that seat
