Yea I was up at Reading, we ended up having a 45min walk back to the station
-
Yes I have heard this an away fans pub, also the Pumphouse close to the Nova Scotia is ok for away fans, any idea how long is the walk to the ground from these pubs ? would prefer something nearer to the station then hop on the £1 bus service.
-
Why don't you bus in mate it is only £1, buses run from Temple Meads from 2pm straight to the ground, just nead to find a good pre match pub.
-
Thx LadySaint going via Euston Northern Line on the tube, onyl takes 10 mins
-
You guys and girls going via Clapham or Waterloo/Euston ?, any idea of decent pre match pub ?
-
Hi mate, Thx for the info, I agree it is better to go via Clapham but I checked out the train times etc on the national rail site and it says no services are running back to Clapham mate, please correct me if I am wrong cos that is the way I would prefer to travel.
-
We are also going up by train, best route is via Waterloo jthen ump on the tube across to Euston (Nothern Line) takes around 12 mins then train to Watford High Street(closer to the ground) or Watford Junction takes 20mins, you can go via Clapham Junction but there are no more than 2 trains per hour to Watford, so you could have a long wait.
-
Not sure but I someone said there is a bus service to the ground from temple meads and back
-
We are going by train, any idea of the away pub ? is it near Temple Meads
-
I assume best route is via Clapham on to Watford Junction, any idea of best pre-match drinking den, never been to Watford before. Thx

Hi mate I would allow plenty of time to get back to the station if I was you,it could take as much as 1 and half hours to get back to the sation, we are booked on the 7.45pm back to Soton, if we get back early then in the pub.
