Yeah, understandably Marr tended to overshadow Rourke and got all the plaudits.
I was a bit young for The Smiths when they first arrived on the scene but discovered them in my late teens, thanks to the brother of a friend who played them relentlessly when we were round his house. Morrissey's lyrics were like nothing else I'd heard up to then and Marr's melodies were addictive. Rourke's bass playing was up there with anyone else at the time. I always wondered if Marr had any control over the basslines or if it was all left to Rourke to do as he pleased.
Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now stands out for the melodic bass chords. Also, for me, Reel Around the Fountain - so simple but perfect for the melody.

Unpopular, but I have decided not to put too much blame on most of the players. Generalising, it seems that mostly the players hearts are in it and they put a shift in. But when they get the ball they don't know what to do with it and as a team we have little plan or structure, or at least one that works. That's down to poor management.
That said, Onuachu, Aribo, AA, Bazunu can all go. Woefully substandard.
Orsic - no idea - have seen about 80 minutes of him. Will probably never see him again.

Aiming to go “straight back up” seems optimistic judging by this horse shit I’m watching…

If you believe that the head of state shouldn't have that job simply through the hereditary principle then you don't believe in a monarchy. We can have the debate over what replaces it once we agree that it's a stupid decision to appoint someone based entirely on who their parents were (or in Harry's case who they weren't).
If you're thinking James Hewitt, I used to think the same, until I saw Harry interviewed. His face-pulling mannerisms are completely Charles'. Like a clone.

I think in this case though, it's confused by the "vampire squid" description of Goldman Sachs which has been around for a while. Was the author referring to that? Perhaps. But you'll notice the squid's tentacles reaching towards Sunak in a familiar "Jewish tenticles around the establishment" that can't be ignored, in my opinion.
Also, notice that the Goldman Sachs box reads "Gold Sack" with the CV covering certain letters? Obsession with money? I doubt that's accidental.

Should come good...

Great album btw...

Would have preferred to see Caballero personally. I guess we have to put some trust in those who see these guys training.

So if I understand the situation correctly, Abbott, attempting to argue that only black people can really be the subject of racism, has been suspended for racism.

Somehow that Government Alert made my doorbell ring!

Looks tasty. I had a Giant Haystacks steak once but I reckon this one would beat it.

This stream has been faultless if anyone needs one for the second half [WARNING - IT COMES WITH A PORNO POP UP]

Isn't every game on iFollow or whatever it's called although it's £10 per match I think.
My mate is a Boro fan and he's got some sort of chipped box or something which allows him to watch any game for free.
Cheers. Don't know much about that. I guess next season all this stuff will come to the forefront.

Agree with most of what's been said. Cheaper seats. Fewer supporters but better atmos, different atmos anyway. More chance of going to the occasional away game (I'm not a ST holder). Easy availability of tickets at short notice.
I'm guessing there won't be any streams so I'll have to get off my arse and actually buy a ticket - supporting the team/club.
Sadly I think this forum will lose a lot of support. I've always preferred forums but they are losing ground to Twitter and all that, god knows why. Also, without the percentage of posters who rely on streams, which I imagine will not be available next season, I think it might get pretty quiet on here. Always better to judge a game from the ground though, TV never gives a decent perspective. Plus I usually hate the commentary, end up muting them.

Widdrington instead of Jones seems like the obvious punt, in hindsight.

How do they know it was nitrous oxide? He might just like inhaling rubbery air. I know I do.

“Saints have only scored one goal from a corner when they have the best corner taker in the league”
he’s fucking not though, he’s never been good at corners and I’m fairly certain our goal ratio from corners has always been low since he’s been on them.
I remember some time ago we had Redmond taking the corners for a game or two. Seemed more dangerous perhaps only because of their unpredictability. Good that Selles is trying something different at least. Been some time coming...

Including Southampton students walking through Hoglands Park. This is one of the consequences of uncontrolled immigration.
My daughter is at Uni and the random attacks on students has lead the Uni to offer free cabs to get them from the Library to their halls in the evenings, rather than walk through or near the parks, which is very welcome. Obviously I have no idea who's responsible but the threat seems real enough.

Agree with people regarding our form improving and us appearing more enjoyable to watch, creating chances. But the elephant in the room remains our inability to score from open play. I'd put money on one of our fullbacks to get the next one.

We've got one of the best dead ball strikers but never threaten from corners. So frustrating.
Was hoping big Paul might be the answer but it seems not. Said it a million times but I'd like to see something different from our corners, maybe go short, as they are so ineffective.
Stu A had a poor half too. Doesn't seem to want to make runs or find space. Struggled to get involved.
Still, a point away from home and all that.

Get them down to 9 men and we might just pinch something here…

Kae Tempest formerly known as Kate Tempest. Can't stand her and her awful affected accent. They sound like a demented dalek spouting cliche ridden bollocks poetry to crap music.
Didn't recognise the name so Youtube'd it to see what it was all about. Youtube, if you're reading this, please don't send me more. It was a mistake. I meant Kate Middleton, No, Kate Beckinsale. She'll do.
