  1. That is the managers responsibility [-o

No it isn't. It's the players responsibility.

I think it is the fans responsibility. If they sang a bit louder and a bit better that would transfer to the players and hey would perform better. Imagine the half time team talk where AP can say to them "can you hear the crowd singing? Can you hear what it means to them? Go out there and play with all your hearts. Go and win the game and be their heroes". A powerful scene, I am sure you agree. The fans can provide the motivation for the players and be a source of inspiration for AP's speeches

I am not for one moment suggesting Pardew should go as I don't think there's a manager with a better track record who would manage us at the moment.

To say that relegation is a knee jerk reaction in nonsense though, you've only got to look at us play and see the table to realise that a relegation battle is almost certainly on the cards this season. People on here bang on about us having a great squad but how long do you have to go without a win to be considered no good? Are we unlucky every week? NO

I bet some on here would look at Charltons squad and look at ours and say they wouldn't swap, it's amazing. I just hope the two new signings make some sort of immediate impact or the weeks are going to slip by and we'll remain bottom.

I would be more inclined to listen to your point of view if I did not know, for a fact that you were blind drunk at the match and "asked to leave" by officials (source, I have a friend who policed the match yesterday who happens to know you)

  2. I imagine the newspaper editors are, since they printed the story.

I wonder if you've changed your opinion of him, or whether you need to ask the other guys first ;)

I have no opinion of him, that's the point. It's just not very interesting. Definitely not worth you dragging this thread back up. Your mind may be entertained by this sort of thing but mine isn't. This is, of course, explained by the fact that I am not a simpleton but you are.

  3. Wait a minute - the reason we are loosing so many games is the songs we sing???????????????????????????????

    ffs that's beyond a joke - isn't it..............

Exactly the sort of attitude that has got us relegated. Maybe if you had sang a bit louder or maybe if you had sung some better songs we would still be in the Prem. I hope that no players are reading this thread, with your negative vibes they would probably be incapitated. I hope you're proud of yourself and all the damage you have done.

On a simialr note, there are not many successful bands from Southampton, while Manchester and Liverpool have a history of successful pop and rock bands. London has produced plenty of musical talent over the years. Maybe it is their talented singing and musical direction that has led to the success of the football teams in that region? Maybe if we had an Oasis or a Stone Roses, whose band members were in the stadiums and whose fans were also there, we could sing a lot better and encourage the players and win more games? Maybe if The Beatles had been from Southampton it would be us who were a top 4 side? Who knows, I am no sports psychologist but it makes sense to me. Maybe if there are any experts out there they could share their thoughts. Has the lack of a musical "scene" stopped Southampton from being successful on the football pitch?

Can't you remember? You ate yourself into obesity and then followed it up with an overdose of stupidity.

  5. What with our zillions we could probably afford to buy him? Having seen him play he is exactly what we need and I think palace would probably sell for £2 million? I don't remember him playing for saints. When was this? Doesn't matter, we often release or sell players who then go on to be successful. He's probably learnt a lot from his time at Palace. Come on ML, stop being tight and get the money out....

  6. At the moment in my kitchen are three eggs and some cheddar. Right now it makes for a pretty poor omelette.

But give me ten minutes and some heat and THEN judge it!!!!!! :)

Alternatively, you could say that turning the stove on, getting out a frying pan and grating the cheese is a good start. What you cannot say right now is that I will fail to make a cheese omelette.

I'd like to see some onions in that omelette and definitely salt, pepper and maybe some herbs. To be honest, your omelette (when made) sounds dull and bland. You say that you will not fail to make a cheese omelette, but what you don't mention is that it will be a sh*t one.

I am, however, not sure what this has got to do with Saints. To get back on topic, what would I change about southampton? Well I haven't actually seen any of the games as my interest in football is zero (I shall wait till we're back in the Prem), but I would get some good players. I would get attackers who can score goals, defenders who can prevent goals and midefield players, some of whom who can create goals and some of whom can help the defence out. I would then encourage those players to win.

On a slightly different matter, another thing I would change is J.Bizzle. I would change him for someone less moronic. Failing that I would wipe him from the face of this planet. I would flush him down the toilet with the rest of the human waste. I would set his face on fire. I would pull his eyes out and shove them up his bot bot.

  7. I have also played against Gillett and can confirm he is rubbish. I beat him every time I had the ball. One time I remember flicking the ball over his head, running round him, catching the ball on one shoulder and then rilling it across my neck onto the other shoulder and all the time he did nothing. I then flicked the ball into the air and scored a bicycle kick from the half way line. I went straight to Gillett and said "I pity you, you probably don't even have any GCSEs". After the game I saw Gillett and Kenwyne Jones outside the changing rooms (it was a Saints XI I was playing against) and Jones said he liked my style and I said "I think you're going to be a great player one day....maybe in the mould of Drogba". He laughed and I said "No, honestly, I have spotted your talent long before anyone else.....just believe in yourself". He thanked me and then went on to be a world superstar. Gillett, on the other hand, is not fit to clean my boots. He's probably from a council estate.

  8. well my daughter was predicted an F in maths, and got a B, so **** them!

Following Clapham Saint's sentiments' date=' this year for AS I received an 'E' grade in my 'end of year report' from my Philosophy & Ethics teacher, yet received 200/200 in the actual thing. Yeah, mother****er.[/quote']

May I be as bold as to suggest that your daughters efforts in her Maths lessons and Buzzin Orns efforts in his lesson indicated that they were not that able. Maybe they were lazy. In fact, Buzzin Orn quite often takes pride in leaving his work till the last minute and being lazy in his approach. They probably didn't show the ability they had. I don't think that teachers are predicting low grades in order to destroy people's self esteem. Both of your aggressive responses say more about you than it does the education system. There is such a tendency in this country to knock these services that are provided for us, whether it is education, health, police or whatever.

I remember my Chemistry teacher (back in the day) saying that she "hoped I got a better grade than I deserved". A* - f**k you b****.

And my History teacher saying in a report that I'd be "luck to pass". To be fair my B was very lucky but **** you all the same. :-)

I don't understand this post. Your teacher hoped that you would get a better grade than you deserved and you respond by saying "f you b*itch"? Either I haven't understood, you haven't understood or you're a tw*t. If your command of English is up to scratch and you have expressed yourself properly, your teacher said a nice thing to you, hoping that you did better than desrved to do and rather than saying "yes, I did do well, thank you for wishing me well2 you come out with a range of expletives. What a pleasant young man you are.

And then your History teacher correctly assesses your chances ("lucky to pass) and you then admit to passing through luck and still don't have the maturity to step back and say "I got away with that despite the warning, maybe I should learn something from this experience".

  9. David,

I really don't think it matters. It is not our money any more.

It is Mr Liebherr's, and I don't think he will be too concerned, I really don't.

    Regards

    Morph

Probably one of the most sensible posts on here for a long time. People don't seem to realise that until we are informed otherwise all incoming and outgoing expenditure is the exclusive business of, sole owner, Marcus Liebherr's.

Whether we got £300,000 or £30m is totally irrelevant.

Now if ML decrees that the club must from here on in be self-sufficient then it becomes very important.

What?! It is far from the most sensible post on here. The fact that the money belongs to ML doesn't mean it is of no interest to us. That's a stupid thing to say. Now I don't mean to upset you and rouse you out of your self imposed exile, but if ML gets £30million from player sales he is more likely to invest say £5million on player sales than if he only achieved £30,000......because in one transaction he would have made a profit and in the other he would be making a loss.......what you don't seem to understand is that it is his money. As far as I am aware he has said that the club will be run in a self sufficient manner and that money won't be endlessly thrown at it.

  10. GCSE's were a piece of ****. I did two of them off my tits ffs. Still got 16 of the fookers though.

No you didn't. You didn't do 16 and you certainly didn't do any of them whilst off yout tits. You are an imbecile.

Was forced to do that many by the school as I was one of the intelligent ****wits.

    Of course.

Orn', I am actually very intelligent. Maths was my thing, got my lowest grades in English language and lit, which was put down to my poor SPG due to my dyslexia. I had extra time on exams, but did not need to use it, just get letters and stuff like that mixed up.

Yes, you certainly come across as very intelligent.

Did they do pointless degrees like media studies?

No, they worked for their Dad because no one else would employ them because they were such massive ar*eholes.

You really are an irksome little tw*t aren't you? I have read your posts and each and every one of them makes me ashamed to be human. Your b*ll**** is incredible. You are a spolit little turd who should just shut up. And you do realise that simply stating, over and over again that you are intelligent, does not make you intelligent.

  11. I am having an affair with Saint Boggy. we went through a tricky patch a while back, but we're back on now. You should have seen the state of her shiny kitchen surfaces by the time we had finished with them (and I mean doing the sex, not cleaning or cooking lasagne)

  12. blairs britian...

as someone said on the main board..."it was a great day in 1997"

yes, the country is superb now

I didn't realise that Blair invented Gypsies. That is typical of the labour government. It's all spin, spin, spin, but when it comes to telling us the truth you can forget it. Can Blair still be held accountable for this outrage? If not I think Gordon Brown (it wouldn't be Gordon White would it?) should be tortured, just to teach some people a lesson or two.

    This country!

  13. Right seriously what is the point of starting this thread? Were you just trying to make a private grievance public? If i remember correctly, this isn't the first time you have decided to leave the forum, did you not do the same about two years ago for roughly six months?

Why are you acting so surprised that someone has disbelieved what you have written? Look at it from his point of view, why should he believe what someone has posted on a forum? I believe his second comment on that thread was that it seems unlikely to him, to be honest it also seems unlikely to me though I'm not going to call it bull****.

On every forum these things go on, why do you think this one will be any different? Every time you post something ITK, there are many posters who find it interesting and are grateful but do you want everyone to post how thankful they are that you decided to post every time? Just accept that there will always be people who think you are talking rubbish or being selective with truth to pursue an agenda (and quite a few who believe you have a past record of doing this). Ask yourself why you are posting? Is it to keep fellow saints fans informed? Or is it for the thanks and "glory" that being an ITK can bring. If it is the former then why do you care what one or two posters choose to believe? Either post and contribute like everyone else or leave without starting threads about it so everyone can beg you to stay. It's pretty simple really.

Me and FF aren't speaking to you anymore.

  14. This should really be on the buy/sell forum.

I happen to have two. I have a very rare one which I won't sell. I have been told it is the only one of it's sort around, where they forgot to paint his shorts on and you can see his privates. I would never sell that. I like it. I have another and would sell that one for £80 (p&p extra).

  15. I don't think anyone here should panic. I am more than willing to step into the shoes of FF. If no one objects I am happy to be the SWF literary person. I am a little ITK through my refereeing contacts and have written some of a book (it is yet to be finished and I have been writing it now for 3 years) on the how the changes in the rules of football have mirrored changes in society. It's quite hard because there aren't that many similarities but it seems a shame to waste 3 years worth of work.

Let this FF chap be on his way and I'll happily share any inside info that I have.

At the moment I don't have any.

  16. I have refereed at CCC level and L1 and L2 previously. You would be VERY surprised how much disruption ball boys cause to the game. I have had to intervene on countless occasions. I once had to send a ball boy from the ground (not even to the terraces) because he wouldn't stop crying after a wayward shot hit him in the face. There was one incident, during a particularly dull end of season game when 2 ball boys were discovered kissing and touching each other. That sort of thing can be quite off putting for some of the professionals, who are only human, after all.

  17. The complete gash in block 35, row FF, around about seat 928, with the moustache/goatee thing....thought he was the next Gordon Strachan, barking out instructions and negatie remarks, even though what he was saying sounded completely ridiculous?! I've seen you knocking around in the Kingsland/Northam corner quite a few times. You're an idiot. Please be quiet, you're embarrassing. If you post on here please out yourself as it would be funny if you're also a serial negative SWF poster!

That was me. What you going to do about it you deluded, golfing bumhole?

  18. I'm not sure the threat of harsher punishments would have stopped these two boys as children aged 7 and 10 often don't think of the consequences of their actions. If they are prepared to act like this then I would suggest that having strict laws about setting fire to people would not make much of a difference. There is clearly an more important underlying issue and that is of poor parenting and life for people on the margins, with no hope or positive influences.

To suggest that these boys should be helped to kill themselves is slightly ironic. What would that teach young people.....that it is actually alright to kill others? Would a 7 year old really be held accountable in such a way? Maybe these aggressive attitudes are part of the cause of the problem? I would ask what home life these boys have had if they think that this sort of behaviour is acceptable. That might sound like "compassionate, leftie" ********, but children do not act in this manner unless they are taught to. If anyone should be held accountable it should parents and all those people who think child offenders should be helped to kill them themselves.
