  1. There is nothing wrong with being gobby or racist, and sales is one of the best paid jobs out there.

So much so that no one in sales would supplement their wages by doing a car boot sale or anything else pikey-like.

Your inferiority complex is a little sad Stu.

  2. I would ride Christina like seabiscuit

Just seen a small pic of her and her horse. Couldn't enlarge it, but have to say she has a look of Sally Taylor (BBC South Today). Nothing wrong with that of course, just putting it out there. :-)

    Does this help?

Here is one in the training kit

    She'll do.

I am sure that I speak for all Saints fans (with common sense) that this sort of behaviour and posting should result in immediate bans. What if Markus were to see this board and he was related to her in some way? He would almost certainly pull out of the deal, as would any right minded individual.

Come on guys, let's not ruin this deal by smutty comments.

  3. we tried to get the club sold not once, twice, thrice or quadruple.

Not what I was looking for Wes. If the English language provides a word to describe on it's own a number of attempts i.e once, twice or thrice why stop at 3.

Quadruple, Quintuple doesn't really do the job does it? Quadruple he tried?

Don't know as I am no expert on English but perhaps as a nation of triers we are only allowed 3 attempts and the give up and walk away. I suppose we could have fource and fice but six is going to be difficult.

    Four times = Fonce

    Five = Fince

    Six = Since

    Seven - Sence

After that I am not sure of.

  4. I hate banks and had a MASSIVE run in with them today.

I needed to send some bank statements to my brief. I asked for these 3 weeks ago and they were produced on the spot in seconds, unfortunately the post was lost so I had to re-request the docs. Asked for the statements again today and the lazy b1tch behind the counter refused to do it, saying it was an impossible task to produce them on demand and it would take 3-5 working days. I hit the f//king roof and explained she was just stupid and lazy, I demanded to speak to her manager and again lost it with her when she refused to help. Rightly or wrongly I went mental and caused a right scene, the branch manager got involved took me into his office and said if I ever use foul lanaguage like that at his staff again he would close my account....I told him to f//k off and threw his business card back at him before him storming out, went down the road to the other branch and they sorted it within seconds.

Am now expected a letter through the door saying my account is closed, but f//k the c//ts they are w//kers of the highest order.

Oh I bank with Lloyds by the way, stay well clear.

What a surprise. You have never displayed any thuggish tendencies before.

  5. 981 got sacked by Total - a French company which would never be able to do this in France.

It looks like this lot have been royally shafted as some have been made redundant whilst other workers have been taken on by a different contractor (presumably cheaper or with higher kickbacks to the execs).

I just compare this to their comrades at the RMT who walked out for 5% - these oil refinery people seem to geuinely need representation but aren't getting it. Wonder if RMT workers will contribute to their cause (well I'm sure they would if it meant walking out on full pay again).

I don't see why you're bringing the RMT into this. It seems like you're using one group of people's misfortune to make some cheap shot at another group of people.

You say the oil workers "genuinely need representation". So you are agreeing that unions are a necessary thing, but then go on to slate the RMT union for representing it's members.

On London Underground, bosses are threatening to tear up an agreement aimed at safeguarding jobs, and has refused to rule out compulsory redundancies. 3000 jobs are at risk.

TfL is also threatening compulsory redundancies as part of a £2.4 billion cuts package.

The dispute is not just about pay (although there would be nothing wrong with that even if it were the singe issue). The above two quotes suggest that job security is also an issue, the very thing you are complaining about with the oil workers.

Seems strange to me that you would support one set of workers yet dismiss another set when their situations are not that different, the main difference being the RMT ballotted members and had the backing of the majority (London Underground workers: 2810 for strike action and 488 against and Transport for London workers: 60 in favour and 15 against)

  6. I'm suggesting they pay the money they agreed, for the club that had a 10 point deduction when they made their offer, which presumably had factored in the 10 point deduction and make the 10 points up on the back of the euphoria generated by our new, multi-millionaire owner and 5 year plan.

I'm with you 100%. Pinnacle were absolutely aware of the situation when they came in with a bid. The deduction is not a surprise to them and it would be incredibly naive to think that the decison to deduct points would be overturned. Another point, though I am sure many will disagree, is that we deserved the deduction. Other clubs have suffered a similar fate and to be honest we have tried to dupe our way out of the whole thing.

There is no one to blame here apart from Pinnacle, as far I am concerned.

  7. I just dont understand why us British people have to comment on every situation.

We always act so smug, like we can do what we want and say what we want.

I can see why other nations hates us. we keep getting involved in other situations which aint our problem.

    Sounds like Weston Super Saint.

  8. true. but he did actually win his own election in 92. which is possibly more than brown will do in 2010

It is true isn't it....but let's not let that get in the way or indeed even allow Brown to be given the chance to win (obviously he won't, but that isn't the point).

How ironic that a thread entitled "hypocrisy" demonstrates such hyprocrisy itself.

  9. :smt022

    Don't cry.

As it goes I think your multiple log ins would be acceptable (to an extent) if you were to state what they all were. That way at least everyone would know that X, Y and Z users were one and the same person and a given threads integrity would be upheld (to an extent).

Would you be happy to tell us all your different identities used?

Don't cry? You're the one pleaing for people to PM you my usernames so you can tell Boj. You silly turd.

Fair enough though, you are, as usual, right. I am happy to admit to these user names:

  10. It's time the admins took note of the fact that you post with myriad other log ins and don't contribute £5 like everyone else does.

It makes a mockery of the site when you get away with this and also a mockery of a threads integrity with your views seemingly being the views of several different users.

It's time that the admins took note of the fact that you are a cretinous and despicable little turd with deep rooted mental issues. I would actually pay £5 to have you removed from this board so I don't have to see your twisted posts.

Also I'm not sure you can comment on a website's integrity after the way you ran your shambolic effort, where people's posts were continually altered or deleted and people banned for disagreeing with you.

It's probably worth repeating that you are a turd.

  11. Thanks, i'm country born and bred and love animals. I put up a link to an even more disgusting act when the springer was tied up and left to die.

Shame you don't extend the same concern and humanity towards non white human beings, you cretinous and despicable little turd.

  12. ROFL.

Stanley, you really aren't in a position to judge other people's madness given that you're a great big mental case yourself. And I mean that. Not just a little bit odd or quirky, but a genuinely disturbed individual. How your Mum puts up with you I don't know.

  13. LOL

This is the exact reason why I said people are turning to the BNP

Yes, this is the exact reason people vote for the BNP. If people are told they can't wear a badge they automatically vote for a neo nazi, racist party. If only people could wear their badges. Where will it all end?

  14. I am contemplating going down the 'smart price' route... although I cannot see any official confirmation of the Carling amnesty tent being there this year, so not sure it is worth the gamble?

You might be able to get some good deals down the car boot or at some other pikey event.

  15. Ps to the idiots who think this whole thread is pointless, stop being idiots and just don't read it

    Here, here.

I think the moment we stop being interested in players who used to play for Saints or the teams they may now play for or even not play for, it will be a sad day for football and Southampton FC.

I have always had fond memories of Egil Ostenstad and when I followed him when he left Saints. My heart sank and a darkness came over me when he signed for Rangers and floundered. I love the fact that he went back to Viking and is now there as Director of sport. After Saints Viking are my second team. All because of an ex saint. And my favourite film is this:

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1114723/

Mannen som elsket Yngve is a wonderful film that was inspired by Egil. If it were not for an ex Saint I would not be saying that.

I often sit at home with my Saints kit from 1997 on and an egil Ostenstad mask on my face. I ask my wife to pretend to be Peter Schmeichel and although she hates it, doesn't see the point, I shout at her and tell her that if there is a chance that I can mention an ex saints player in any context then I will do so and she should shut her stupid face.

  16. Oh, hahahahahahaha, what japes.

Can we stop this dopy Widdrington nonsense. It was a funny little gag launched by the wind up merchants on here, but now it isn't funny anymore.

    Cheers.

Hahahahaha indeed. I think we all know your game and a sneaky one it is at that. I am not sure I have seen a more devious poster in my entire time surfing the net. What are you gaining from this kind of behaviour? What has Tommy ever really done to you? I think you need to take a long look in the mirror mate and do some growing up........and if you can't do that then you should think about leaving supporting to Saints to proper Saints fans (like Tommy)

  17. I agree. What we need is to find great players for small amounts of money. Now what gives us the edge in this search is that big clubs all want to spend loads so aren't interested in cheapo players. We need to scour the non leagues in search of players like Crouch, Bent and Yakubu but who will cost a fraction of the actual players named. This revolutionary idea should be enough to get us back in the prem withon 3 years.

  18. A poll is for people to show their opinions.

I have asked many times for TW followers to do a sales pitch on his behalf such as I did for PT - none have. I personally only see him as a light-hearted suggestion for two reasons 1) he is no more saints through and through than Skacel, 2) he has not even managed to get hired as a non-league manager yet - this is supposedly a 5 year plan to premiership.

I find yours one of the strangest posts on here in a long time!

I have done "sales pitches" in the past. Tommy Widdrington has had his own thread on here before. The case has been made. If people wish to choose not to listen to then that is their own blinkered look out. How many of the other candidates have had their own threads?

You may only see him as a "light hearted suggestion" but that doesn't make him a light hearted suggestion. There are people on here suggesting Gordon Strachan. A man who narrowly missed out on 4 back to back titles with the biggest team in Scotland.......seriusly put forward as a manager of a L1 team that he walked out on when we were Prem standard for a lack of ambition. HA! That is not just a "light hearted suggestion" it is downright mental. Tommy Widdrington is more than light hearted. He is the man for the job and it is not just me that thinks so. Look at this list of TW supporters posted by another TW backer on another thread:

    (taken from this post: http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showpost.php?p=262489&postcount=83)

And this poster hasn't even included me - Tommy's biggest fan! There are loads more such as:

    Dover Saint

    Quickfire Double

    Kazza

    gammoncheeks

    Yarm Saint

    grammy

    adethorne

    to name just a few.

I don't want this to turn into a pointless discussion or a slanging match. The new owners will choose who they see fit. Like I say I hear TW has been spoken about. I don't want Saints fans to start falling out about the next manager, especially when it is out of our control. However, a little bit of courtesy wouldn't go amiss.
