Saints are like that friend that many of us had at college. A mess of a person who just couldn't get out of his own way to get his shit together. Would be struggling for cash and then arrive home with a games console because his parents sent him money for food and books. Then he'd have to borrow cash for food but didn't actually use the console because the games were too expensive and it didn't come with one.

True of so many of our players. Try hard but lack any real quality. Only JWP actually looks capable of scoring. We need to be lucky to win. Doesn't bode well for the rest of the season.

Worrying. We just have too many mediocre players in the starting XI. They do some good things like a pass or tackle every now or then but the rest of the time it's fluffing passes, committing silly fouls, losing possession, not shooting etc. To win we need a bit of luck or a decision to go our way. Each game you can see it coming. I lost count of saying "phew, we got away with one there". Eventually even the weaker teams or teams had having an off day will take advantage of one of our mistakes. Rince and repeat nearly every game. We're fooked unless we somehow pull a rabbit out if the hat in the transfer window. Then I read on here that we want to replace one if our 10s with another non scoring 10 and waste $20M that could go towards a decent striker. We're fooked!
