Great goal by Eze. That is exactly the kind of run we are crying out at Djenepo to do, we know he has it in him but he’s not really trying it anymore. MLG notes: Yes I know Djenepo scored a great goal against Sheff Utd. Yes I know Sheff Utd are winless and not very good.

I captained Salah in FPL for today’s match vs Newcastle and he went goalless and missed at least 3 sitters. Looks like he’ll stay captain for next week then. See if my captain jinx continues.

Would have preferred him to have come on for Adams with Theo moving up alongside Ings. He is a bit sloppy with the ball at times but his runs are incisive and he creates chances and chips in with goals.

I think LB. With an aging Bertie on that side we look really unbalanced. If we had a LB making the kind of runs KWP does, overlapping and linking up we’d have way more options and be less predictable for the opponents. At present they know that the Bertie & Redmond/Djenepo combination aren’t going to amount to much so they focus more on KWP.

Think we might get a spanking in this one. We’re struggling for goals and we’ve got away with Fulham and West Ham being a bit toothless. Mane and co will have a field day.

Just seen the Dawson/Adams incident. Yeah he probably didn’t mean it but what’s he swinging his boot like that with Adams’ head right there? VAR must have taken a look, but based on how quickly they reviewed the offside goal they were asleep at the controls. Red card all day long.

We waved the white flag when we brought on Long. Would have preferred a rusty Obafemi to Long. Case in point, he’d been on about 5-10 minutes when we mounted an attack that WHU headed away. The ball then fell for us but Shane was still walking slowly back without a care in the world and ended up getting in the way of the through-ball. That’s simply not good enough. He should be buzzing having just come on but showed no desire at all.

Brutal. Wasted opportunity, no one wanted to be brave. We look utterly bereft of attacking ideas and confidence.
