    Pre Season Tour

Shhhh, i don't think anyone else noticed.
  2. Thanks for being so honest Foxtone.
  3. Yeah, can you imagine. Stanley: what you drinking frank? Frank: i feel adventurous, make it a J20. cue 30 minutes of Frank debating which out of Orange & Passion Fruit, Apple & Mango, Apple & Melon, Apple & Blueberry and Apple & Raspberry is his favourite flavour.
  4. The thing is though Nick, we needed administration. Without it Lowe, and Wilde would still be involved and we'd be facing yet another season of turmoil. It became blatently obvious that neither lowe nor Wilde wanted out, so the only way was to force them out.
  5. If you think about it though Wilde has unwittingly given us a new lease of life because without his treacherous behaviour in bringing Lowe back there would have been no boycott, administration wouldn't have occured so quickly, and we wouldn't be on the eve of a new dawn. So a big thanks to Mike Wilde for being the catalyst.
  6. He sucked up to Lowe. For that reason he's a ****.

    Pre Season Tour

Scottish money is legal tender throughout the UK, although some dopey till operators aren't very educated and may query it.
  8. 1) No spin 2) Employ a good manager and let him manage. 3) Don't PM Hypochondriac as he's not to be trusted.
  9. As Alpine points out it was OK for you and your chums to post a thread criticising those that boycotted, but now that the boycott has had such a positive effect you don't want to talk about it. How bizzare.

    O/S New Look

It does the job. Basically all i want it for is ticket news.
  11. Nick he has shown that he cares and is prepared to back that up out of his own pocket. Lowe and Wilde never did that. So you cannot bracket Leon along with those rotters.
  12. You make a good point Alpine. Now that the boot is on the other foot they don't like it. Bless.
  13. My suggestion.
  14. A good marketing opportunity for Christmas 2009 perhaps...
  15. Looking at the football i'd say the badge became more old fashioned.
  16. It's highly unlikely that our new owner could possibly be worse than Lowe or Wilde. For starters it will be his club and short of liquidating assests he won't be in a position to milk the club. Quite the opposite i would imagine as the money can only go one way until we reach the promised land. Until such time breaking even will imo be the objective.
  17. I'm not offended. It's human nature for those that have been so wrong for so long to be in denial. Also there is a sheep mentality by many that post here. In a few years time the flock will change it's tune.
  18. Changing the name of the club is just a wind-up by original poster, but changing the badge seems logical. It's just a badge at the end of the day and these do get rejigged periodically.
  19. Another tour of Scotland would be good, this time the Edinburgh area. With the Euro exchange rate making Europe a rip-off holidaying in Scotland is appealing to me and i've never been to Scotlands capital - reckon it'd be a good crack.
  20. How old are you? I'd guess at you being a gobby 18-21 year old.
  21. There were many many Saints fans who opposed Lowe and to dismiss this as being a reason for the boycott is naive. That said the bungling appointments of the dutch rejects delivered a crap product and Lowe made that happen so ultimately we come full circle back to Lowe anyway.
  22. Boycotting to force the club into admin to facilitate a clean sweep and a takeover was in my strategic planning. I have been saying as such for long enough. Few agreed with me, but when we look back in a few years time it will be shown that i was right.

    Saints Aid

Age also comes into it. Old people (the over 40's) wouldn't like all that loud music. A car boot sale or a fete would have catered for them more.
  24. In hindsight I should have realised than many on here wouldn't be mature enough to see the wood for the tree. If this thread was put up in a years time i'm sure that realism would have sunk in. The crux is that for years we've been discussing when we'd hit rock bottom. We hit it and we're now past it now. Mike Wilde bringing back Lowe was rock bottom, but looking back it was the turning point because although we subsequently got relegated and have a points deduction, the wheels were set in motion and like a runaway train the dye was set for admin and a new dawn.
