  1. Mirror columnist woh focuses on Italian football Minarzouki: Ramirez to Southampton should conclude today. €14m for 70% of the player. 4 year deal worth €2.5m a season + bonuses.
  2. Well after going through all of the teams from last night, the only 2 'excellent' ones that stand out are Shawcross and Davies. Would be delighted with either of these. Without doubt.
  3. Italian based sports pundit mirkocorli: #Ramirez will probably be a #Southampton player today: agents travelling to UK to fix the deal with #Bologna: 14m€ to Italians for his 70%.
  4. And Akos Buszaky. did a very good job for QPR last season in PL and scored some good goals. Would be worth a punt for a lot of Champ / lower PL clubs.
  5. I like it!
  6. Exactly. Really cant be long now and importantly, cant be any hitches left as they are agreeing deals in principle that are 'just missing signatures'. Means they must be 99% confident the Ramirez deal is going through so they can immediately sign these deals off as soon as that €14m hits their bank account.
  7. Bologna on the verge of signing another player. Where are they suddenly getting this money from?.... Bologna, comes Patience details Article published Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at 11:16 - Bologna , Premier League . Destiny to Bologna. After many requests and negotiations, Michele Pazienza is close to Bologna. Practically missing only the signature for the outright purchase. The contract will be extended by one year, to spread the engagement he perceived to Juventus. In Bologna, Patience will also take additional bonuses tied to attendance. And finally, he sees more clearly his future ...

  9. tancredipalmeri: Bologna rejected offer to sign Michael Owen. The offer came from Michael Owen agents
  10. Article just been posted on Gazzetta Dello Sport http://www.gazzetta.it/Calcio/Squadre/Bologna/ The fans rossoblù is in turmoil for the sale of Ramirez to Southampton, in addition to shell out 14 million to the club rossoblù the Saints must, however, overcome the resistance of Peñarol, which claims just 30% of its card. About 400 ultras were crowded at the gates of Casteldebole to challenge Guaraldi with spits, insults and choruses ("servant of Juve" the kindest). He also touched physical contact when the hottest tried to climb over the gates. Escorted by an officer of Digos President then met with a delegation of five supporters asking them to judge on August 31, ensuring that Ramirez will remain if the negotiations will not go into port by tomorrow or, alternatively, the money obtained in exchange for the capricious Niño will be reinvested to strengthen a team still largely incomplete. And 'now one step away from buying Patience and Juve midfield remain hot tracks Tissone and Matuzalem, for the attack remains in pole position followed by Lazio Floccari clivense Moscardelli and the defense always thinks all'interista Juan Jesus. In all this we must not forget that Saturday comes the Milan and Pioli is always free Natali and Perez, the only disqualified after the first round of Serie A. And returning from a round of stop Morleo has low back pain.
  11. Calcio_Mercato: Bologna: tifoseria in fermento per la cessione di Gaston Ramirez al Southampton per 14 milioni di € (Gazzetta .it). Calcio_Mercato: Bologna fans excited about the sale of Gaston Ramirez to Southampton for 14 million € (Official. It).
  12. I was thinking that initially aswell last night!! "Mayuka, Mayuka, Mayuka ya ya"
  13. SimonPeach: Days after Nigel Adkins flatly denied the move, I am hearing that Japan international Maya Yoshida may now end up at #SaintsFC He even said the same about Steven Davis.
  14. tancredipalmeri: Bologna signs Pazienza - in italian means 'Patience'. Probably player Southampton would need finally to end the never-ending Ramirez saga...
  15. Thank f*** for that...
  16. gregvul: @Mousse81 very complicated deal it seems. I think tomorrow night it will be official Mousse81: @gregvul So much parts involved....but I still think tomorrow on Thursday official I can see your view now S-Clarke. 17. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11700/8029424/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
  18. Mousse81: @gregvul Talks Penarol-agent-Southampton. For two days.
  19. Mousse81: Belong press in Uruguay, Saints have offered 6m US$ for Gonzalo Bueno. A Bentancur player. Is this a plan B due to Ramirez problems? Mousse81: @tcumner1986 Bueno was offered to Bologna like a "reward" to sell Gaston. And now in Uruguay they say Saints on him. It's strange. gregvul: @Mousse81 is ramairez deal not close then? Mousse81: @gregvul No, it's not close at this moment. Mousse81: @jimmysaint7 Nothing new, they said to me. Chairman Guaraldi said to supporters "the deadline is Thursday morning or he will remain" Mousse81: @danbsfc Bologna-Saints are ok from Sunday. Why are they so late to close? It's a question...
  20. He seems more feasible if that is even possible. I mean why would an untested 19 yr old Uruguayan be plan B if we fail to get one of the hottest prospects in European football?!
  21. Guessing he means this guy?? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alberto_Bueno
  22. Mousse81: Il Southampton pare abbia offerto 6 milioni US$ per Bueno. Che è di Bentancur. E se fosse un piano B visti i problemi per #Ramirez? Mousse81: The Southampton seems to have offered U.S. $ 6 million for Bueno. That's Bentancur. And if it was a plan B visa problems for # Ramirez? Mousse81: Belong press in Uruguay, Saints have offered 6m US$ for Gonzalo Bueno. A Bentancur player. Is this a plan B due to Ramirez problems?
  23. I dont know what has happened today but they seem to suggest it has been pretty interesting. Whether it just refers to Mayuka, who knows?
  24. Don't like the sound of this.... http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/aston-villa-transfer-news-rickie-1283963 Meanwhile, Southampton are ready to sign Zambia striker Emmanuel Mayuka - who is a personal favourite of club chairman Nicola Cortese. Saints have pushed ahead of QPR in the chase for Mayuka, who has caught the eye of Swiss-born Cortese while playing for Switzerland's Young Boys club, and are willing to pay him more than the Londoners are. Mayuka will cost around £3million and needs a work permit, but should be cleared to arrive before the window shuts on Friday night.
