Based on what? The stunning results? The lovely warm hugs? His perfectly manicured beard? I’m not getting it, unless you’re on a wind-up of course.

I was of the opinion we needed to give Ralph the season.
My reasoning hasn’t changed for Russell Martin.

I'm sure that's what the clueless muppets SR and Rasmus would want. But if this crap continues the fans won't tolerate it. The atmosphere at the ground would become so toxic they'd have no choice but to pull the trigger before the season is finished.

I want RM to stay the season. He really earned that right after last season.

    Hello everyone!

Match day for Valenciennes, who play Versailles tonight at the Stade Jean Bouin in Paris.

Here's the link to tonight's match: (kick-off 7.30pm French time):

The match was originally due to be played tomorrow, but the stadium where the match is being played is next to the Parc des Princes where PSG play Rennes on Saturday.

The aim was to win the match and recover the points lost last weekend against Concarneau.

    Allez VA §

Versailles is playing at Jean boin stadium? Didn t know that.

Sugawara obviously a very good player, so hopefully there has been some amendments to the recruitment team from two years ago and this can be another gem. Downes, Ugochukwu, Aribo, Smallbone and Fernandes all vying for the three spots. Good competition when in previous years we've had to keep the same midfield game by game due to having rubbish like Diallo as backup.

Now, onto a goalkeeper and a Tadic like creator.

Jack Clarke for me. Think we have been in discussions with him all summer

Seemingly the question marks over Ramsdale are about his ability to play out with the ball.

A loan to a team that does that would either prove he can't do it or show that he can. For his career longer term it could be a good loan move for him so perhaps has a chance of happening. But if not sure there would be some other decent keepers who would see a strong chance of being/becoming a PL #1 here and outting themselves in the shop window.

If we are braver about it then Carl Rushworth could be another option.

We can also bring in a foreign keeper who can play with ball at their feet. There are plenty of them.

  6. I don’t to sound negative after the fantastic end of season, but last summer we knew exactly who was in charge of football operations.

With the departure of Wilcox back in March, we had ample time to find a replacement and haven’t with the club preferring to promote within and use internal resources.

So, who is in charge of transfers ? Is it a transfer committee like we used to have back in the day?
Who does an agent contact at Saints to promote one of his players?

Who decides to sell if we receive a big offer for one of our players?

I have strictly no idea, if someone can clarify?

I mostly agree with that, although if I'm Che, I'm not staying here. Wolves will probably still be in the PL for the duration of his contract. If he stays here, there's a decent chance he'll be playing championship football again next year. He may also want the Saudi money. He's gone.

Wolves have a shit manager who won t last the season

Yep I get that and it's a valid point, but it would still cost millions and millions of pounds to build - I don't personally think that's a sensible use of our money at the moment, let's build a PL side first and see where we are come 2030.

Why delay what you can do now? Dragan can put some of his money without it hurting the club s finances. It would also not count for ffp rules

I think that's right. JWP's heart is clearly still in the right place. And can still do a job. To say he's worse than Smallbone is laughable

We don’t need JWP, he slows down play and is overall pretty average.

  10. I don t want Bazunu to be anywhere near our first 11.

Macca just demonstrated the effect of having an efficient shop stopper in our team with less dilly dalling on the ball which resulted in our defenses taking less risks and Looking way more solid.

What has Sulemana done since we signed him to warrant a £15m fee? Irrelevant what we paid for him, we had our pants pulled down as per Carrillo by another French side.

When you think of standout Championship players like Clarke potentially fetching £15m, there is no way Sulemana is going to attract a bid anywhere near. If we got any permanent offers for him it would be £5m tops in my opinion. We wouldn't sell him for that as we want to protect our investment, so players like him will only ever go out on loan. Ditto Onuachu and ABK.

Might as well keep Sule if we only get 5m offers.
