I've got a Santander current account (not through choice, I was with Alliance and Leicester who they took over)however I'm currently overdrawn so if they go bust it's their problem. I actually rang them up yesterday because i noticed that the charges to be applied were 20 quid (which is double the 10 quid going o/d used to be) so they've put that up pretty quickly obviously trying to call in their debts. After i'd explained that i'd not been informed of the rise she reduced it back to 10 for this month. I don't mind paying a tenner but 20 quid - fook that!

Everything. If and when Greece leave the EURO, and reduce their debts by adding a few noughts to the Drachma, then Spain, Italy, Portugal etc will follow suit. The bureucrats talk about contagion, but their real fear is Greece's exit being a success. And therefore the beating of the Nationalist drum in Spain is a clear sign that Rajoy could well continue wit this tactic with much flag waving as they default and leave the EURO without warning.
