  1. Weird game. Should have scored more and been comfortably out of sight but let them back in the game twice and at 3-2 we looked nervous.

Happy for Tadic that he got a couple and thought Romeu was good too.

Rubbish atmosphere in our end. I don't understand how 3000 of us can make such little noise.

Our away support has been s**te for a couple of years, wasn't going to change today. Mad that we've taken biggest numbers in years to Villa for a game that doesn't mean anything.

  2. I am most certainly not a "tory boy" I hate the both of those two scumbags for their treatment of the downtrodden in this country but I'm also assuming you think that outside of the EU will be a wonderland, where everyone gets a huge pay rise and is totally safe from unfair, unsafe and abhorrent working conditions and standards...don't be silly.

    Tory Boy.

Keep bowing and scraping to Cameron and Osborne and they'll keep bowing and scraping to Poland and Turkey on your behalf. Hats off for convincing yourself it's all in the interest of the average working Brit whilst you do it as well.

  3. You've just proved you can't. You change subject so it should be two separate sentences, not one.

    My sentence is fine thanks.

Why don't you tell us again about how your choice of which way you're voting is based on Saintsweb posts?

Or about how your upbringing justifies your contempt of the English working class?

  4. Errr....I assume you didn't read what I wrote above?.....THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH BEING LEFT OR RIGHT.......Labour WERE the ones pushing for out in the '70s and it came from the top that we changed our views so is it surprising she's voting out and is a labour supporter?....Not at all.

Tory boy. How long have the Osborne and Cameron posters been up at yours now?

How long have you been a champion of TTIP?

Why are you so enthusiastic for the drive down of wages for the working class of this country and the increase in cost of living?

  5. your a laugh a minute every time you post ,i think surely no one can that dopey and love your brain dead comments and now your trying to pretend your intelligent ..

I'm that dopey, yet I can write a basic sentence in the English language, unlucky lad, it has just evaded you

  6. Based on one or more of the following, xenophobia, a distorted view of the EU, little Englanderism, right wing ********, stubbornness, misinformation or just plain old stupidity. None of which has featured in any credible assessment of the issue.

Amazing that someone who can predict the post Brexit future, has a full understanding of every argument and circumstance, descends to nothing but petty insults.

  7. No mate, we're in favour of workers not being f*cked over by a perennial conservative government and the lack of human rights that offers to the workers of this country. Also, as moonraker says, we'll not be that for long.

Voting to remain isn't going to change that.

But keep following Cameron and Osborne's lead, good chap.

Don't worry about the effects on the working people of this country.

Keep your support of TTIP going strong.

  8. No change of opinion I believe we will be poorer out than in. Also not exactly a prediction just an opinion.

Got it, you can predict, but no-one else can.

So where will our economy rank?

  9. Based on what?

You have to get information from somewhere in order to come to a decision. I've yet to see any authoritative data from any reputable person or organization that advocates us leaving.

Every day life. You don't need to sit there open mouthed, spoon fed your opinions.

  10. We won't be the fifth biggest for long if we leave, in my humble opinion!

I thought no-one could predict what would happen if we leave? Why have you changed your opinion on this? How high will our economy rank?

  11. Well who's advocated us remaining?

    The US President

    The Chinese President

    The Indian Prime Minister

    The Australian Prime Minister

    The Dutch Prime Minister

    The German Chancellor

    The Irish Prime Minister

    The OECD

    The World Bank

    The Bank of England

    The CBI

    NATO

    The Farmers Union

    The World Trade Organization

So, do we listen to this lot or Johnson and Farage with their invented stories?

Or listen to none of them and make your own mind up.

It amazes me how many on 'the left' are so supportive of big business and f****g over the working class of this country, proper little tories at heart when it boils down to it.

  12. Exactly my point. Also, even if the commonwealth WAS a trading organisation...They've moved on, most trade with Asia or the US primarily now so we've burnt our bridges there. It's fantasy, pure and simple. Also, that was no threat whatsoever from Obama. He's actually been very nice to us unlike a lot of countries he's pulled the plug on trading with without telling them. Either way, the US until about 90 years ago were virtually our enemy (if it wasn't for the trade back then, we probably would be enemies) so let's not buy into this great fantasy that Churchill (the half-American Churchill) had about any special relationship. China will continue to push us around, Russia will be very happy with the effective break up of the EU and we'll basically be just a small island.

A small island that has the 5th biggest economy in the world

If we leave the EU we'll still trade successfully with all of those nations.

  13. its repeating the same pattern as the 1975 referendum.the majority of britsh people are not stupid and will vote to stay at the end of the day despite the dreamers of the out campaign and there fantasy world .they have no plans and all the big countries from china, usa australia ,new zealand etc.have told us we will not get a special trade deal on the outside.its about time the out people lived in the real world.
Does living in the real world involve being able to write a basic sentence coherently?
  14. The money is not spent, it is loaned with interest to be paid.
Do you understand what Opportunity Cost means?

Do you understand how the European Investment Bank works and the interest rates that they charge?

Can you explain why you intend to vote your support for the continuation of British tax payers money to be spent subsidising companies setting up operations in Turkey, taking British jobs?

  15. Fair enough... They should have said that Obama is more invested in the UK being in TTIP so the Yanks can get their mitts on open markets such as the NHS.

Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

Exactly that. Who knew that Obama cared for and knew so much about what was good for the average Brit.

I assume he'll be opening US borders for full labour movement from Mexico soon and will be taking legislation from a government sat in Bogota soon enough.

  16. I see that Messrs Johnson and Farage reckon that Obama doesn't like the UK because his Grandfather was Kenyan and therefore he holds a grudge against us as an ex-colonial country.

They don't provide a shred of evidence for this, just scraping the bottom of the racist barrel.

Its clearly not racist. The only ones scraping the barrel appear to be those campaigning for us to be controlled from Brussels.
  17. I'm sure Spurs would love to sign him. Dier has been great, Dembele has had a good season but form changes, people get injured and suspended and for his limitations Wanyama when focused is still one of the best DMs around. Wanyama and Dier in front of Verthonghen and Toby would be ridiculously solid. His contract is running down so he'd be reasonably priced, they have an extra 6 big CL games minimum to deal with. Some fans just seem to like running down our own players.

He'll leave and I think he'll do well. I haven't liked his attitude this season and it's effected his form a lot, but he's been top quality for us overall since joining and we'll more than get our money back.

Not convinced we need a direct replacement though, not like for like. I'd happily see us sign a box to box midfielder who can grab a goal or too instead. Sissoko maybe? Off form for Newcastle a lot but moved out of position too. I'd like Romeu to get more games too.

So Spurs need two defensive midfielders to sit in front of their back 4, but we don't?
  18. Mash; I'm not saying Vic is in the elite category of Prem central midfielders; I'm saying his passing and distribution isn't that bad, but the real strengths of his game are breaking up play; strength on the ball; aerial skill and an imposing presence - all of which would be a massive loss for us and a massive gain for Spurs, despite Dier and Dembele.
You said "Vic's passing and distribution is pretty good" - who do you consider worse than him?

Spurs don't really need him, they're doing more than well enough defensively, so not point in weakening their passing ability to bring him in.

Everyone knows his strength, he can be excellent at winning and protecting the ball when he wants to be focused.

  19. He would provide the biting defensive shield for the Belgian CB's - his aerial work is akin to having an extra CB and he provides the enforcer role which Dier is not yet in control of. Not that I want to him go - look at our midfield as it stands with Vic gone....Davis, JWP, Clasie....only Romeu inspires much confidence to provide some steel.
Have you seen Spur's defensive record this year? What more do Dier and Dembele need to be doing that they're not? Why would you get rid of one of those to play a worse passer of the ball?

Which decent level central midfielders have worse passing than Wanyama?

  20. That was a loan, not a grant. And Cameron will be gone within four years, if not sooner.

Any one member can veto any new application. Any new member would have to adopt the Euro and in order to do that they would need to meet the fiscal requirements. Do you really think that Turkey will ever meet the necessary conditions if a country like ours never has!

Who said it was a grant? What does that have to do with anything? Anyway, keep voting for more of our money to be spent on such ventures.

Can you tell us why you think David Cameron, long term Prime Minister and leader of the Tories, has significantly different views on Turkish membership than any other future leaders?

But keep your fingers in your ears, your head in the sand and do whatever you need to do to convince yourself it's definitely, 100% never happening. The fact the issue panics you so much speaks volumes on why it's mad you're then going to vote to remain part of this club in June.

  21. They make all the right noises in public but in practice it won't happen. It's called politics.

So lets get this straight - Cameron's consistent support over years for Turkish EU membership was just him 'making all the right noises', Osborne popping up just before the referendum to play down concerns is the real deal.

Visa free access awa few billion £ now, what next?

We get stuff like this when they aren't full members, imagine when they are. http://m.dailyecho.co.uk/news/10026411.Focus_on_Ford__The___80m_EU_loan_for_Ford_s_Turkish_Transit_plant/
