Season Tickets 'how many will we sell next season'

Read the 1st post! -
With there being quite a bit of discussion about expanding the stadium etc i thought it would be good if we could have a thread wher you just put your guess at the number we will sell next season. Taking into account segregation approx max 500, away allocation approx max 15% (FA Cup) and i think there is also a policy for minimum 5% tickets available for general sale. That would give us approx 26k available season tickets (give or take a few hundred). It would be great if all could just put their guess at the number sold but i'm sure we will end up with various debates about facts/figures/expansion etc. Maybe the mods could get a poll up. ie 20k, 21k, 22k, 23k, 24k, etc So here goes, i reckon: 23,889

They are! it's just their wearing them underneath their Man utd & Real shirts.
-
That actually looks very much like our stadium! The phot is also very much in the style of our recent kit shots. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm:? someone could be in trouble here!
-
A slim chance! If that was the scenario.

Do you know something we don't? Or are you just quoting others opinions/suggestions from this Forum?

The waterfront! or even a completely different location. As my post say's it would all depend on planning/infrastructure/land/funds available.
-
I think any major money they pump in would be invested in infrastructure and not the players, there will be money invested in players but i don't think it will be major (maybe 20-40million over next 2 years), bit of a guessing game really!

If the stadium is expanded/redeveloped there is a couple of additions that i believe would be perfect to assist the club in its aspirations (on & off the pitch). 1. Incorporate an indoor arena (southampton is crying out for one). 2. Incorporate a large casino complex (did southampton city not get an option/license for one of these?). It all depends on planning/infrastructure/land/funds available but i think these 2 additions would be real money spinners for the club. Is this likely to happen, who knows!

Yeah! some may only buy a scarf or some shorts etc.........

As much as i love the inner city stadium i do recognise that if we could obtain all the required land at Stoneham it would allow the club to expand its operations in a big way. There is plenty of land at Stoneham if you also include parcels of land on all sides of Junction 5 (M27) but i think it would be very difficult to obtain them all. I also think it would have to be one hell of a project (hundreds of millions in cost) to convince all the necessary councils/authorities.

Got to admit, will love getting all the season previews in the various papers/magazines. Usually end up reading them several times over.

To pull back a last minute consolation goal in a 3-1 loss to the saints!
-
Shhhhhhhhh! don't say any more, surprises are more fun.
-
TV series! They already made a film about them both 'Dumb & Dumber' . That should get a few good responses!

I am astonished that after the huge transformation in the fortunes of this club over the last 3 years, You think it is not possible! When we were on the brink, did you really beleive we would be where we are now? I bet you hoped/wished for it but did not believe it! I do believe it is possible, a slim chance but possible!

We have a very slim chance. There, said it again!
-
All 20 teams are competeing for CL football when the season starts. Some of them have a much better chance of achieving it than others. With the knowledge i have at present i would say we have a very slim chance, when the season kicks off we will have a better idea, as the season progresses again we will have a better idea. We have a chance and i am sure that those who work for/run the club will try their best (with whatever resources we have)to take that chance. We supporters must also take the chance to do everything we can from the stands to assist. I know i will!

The income generated in the championship/league 1 is nothing compared to the income in the Premier league!
-
You actually answered your own post in the first sentence. We have a chance (not a gaurenteed place).
-
If they make it to the Premiere league then YES!
-
You just said it yourself!
-
Very well said .

Probably true, but in my experience the harder you work the luckier you get!
