Maybe lower the pitch slightly and add several rows of seats, would bring the crowd a little closer and could increase capacity by a few thousand. issues would possibly be roof cover, water table, sight lines and any minimum pitch to seat distances.
man city are in the process of doing this without lowering the pitch.
Expansion can be temporary just for the World Cup. If there was a bid we would face stiff competition from Brighton and Pompey, their councils would put up very strong bids.
Whatever you do don't put him under pressure, you want eating to be a fun/happy time, not a miserable experience as that would be very counter productive. Is it really such a big deal him eating slowly? As long as his weight is within the safe limits then don't let the situation get under your skin. You will have to bite your lip at times but remember he is just a little boy! Try not to let him eat in front of the telly as they can get distracted. Ask him what he would like to eat, it will take time but please please please don't turn it into a miserable occasion for you all.
Their plan for some time has been to rotate the ground 90 degrees. You can see that if they do ever get back up the leagues then there is room for a fare bit of redevelopment. Possibly, maybe, if, could, might, but they have a long way to go!
Expand the Northam by a few thousand, it's the only way to get more saints into the area and keep away fans in the same area. Stick another 20 rows of seats at the back of the stand (or another tier) this would give around 8k+ in the northam and would mean we always outnumber away fans for league games and still a fair presence for cup games. It would also give an opportunity to improve acoustics with a new roof at this end.
Obviously a fair initial outlay (10+million) but I think there are some great positives/wins.
Just a thought , I am not ITK.
In the documents it states that it is instead of the earlier proposed dome, the latest one is bigger and in a different position (closer to the bypass).
