He still has a corporate box.

I don't think that's the official women's team of Southampton fc. Pretty sure they are another level below that. can get confusing as there are 3 different women's clubs (Southampton saints, Southampton women's fc and then Southampton fc women's). Southampton fc women's is the official women's team of Southampton fc.

And that initial offer came after we played hardball.

What was the difference between liverpools 1st offer and the final one?

Possible re-siting of away fans at SMS

Was part of a suggestion if it proved problematic to move away fans and ours didn't want to move either. -

Agreed, but it would take massive insentives to get our fans to move en masse or to stop them following the away fans if they get moved. Either way a few things that would help: guarantee large safe standing section when it gets the all clear, make it over 16's, create external fan area for pre game/half time, get in the multi pour drinks systems, encourage flags/banners/ultra style atmosphere (not hooligans). It would have to be a massive effort by the club to work. -

Said it here and on other threads over the years. If it's difficult to move them and our fans are reluctant to move then do this: push them slightly further into the itchen and then expand the Northam by a few thousand to help dilute the away fans influence. The expansion should be very basic, just extend current stand by adding further rows at rear. No corporate. -

The number of microphones at pitch side in front of away fans also makes them loud over the TV. When away fans are put up high in some foreign grounds that's why you can't hear them over the tv. It also helps with away fans in corner as you can't place as many microphones there. This is/was also the case at Newcastle even though you had 3k plus away fans, you never really heard them on TV. -

Please please please, at least throw this option across the table. -

Push them slightly further in the itchen then small basic expansion of Northam stand(just adding extra rows at rear) of about 2-3k to increase home fans presence/noise and help water down away fans. It would cost but would also eliminate any police or logistical arguments about moving them. -
Without wanting to sound disrespectful I actually think the Men could pretty much have 90%+ of the game in the women's half with the women lucky to get any sort of shot toward goal, the score would likely be 25-0 or more. Womens sport in the main is nowhere near the men's level, but as I said earlier doesn't stop it being both good for the sport and entertaining. Most people love/like some type of sport and recognise the benefits, no matter your sex/race/religion/nationality/ability/age/mobility, sport is for all! Errrr sorry got a little carried away there, but you know what I mean.

USA women also lost 5-2 to Dallas u15 boys last year. The class difference between the top men and women is huge. Probably in the realms of 20-0 with the women hardly getting a touch. It doesn't mean the women's game can't be both good for the sport and entertaining.

It's now on footyheadlines website as the 3rd kit. They are usually a very good outlet for leaks etc. Also a clearer picture and actually looks OK.

Volume level 10 = too loud. Volume level 5 = too quiet. hmmm I wonder what level could possibly be about right? F*ck me, can it really be that hard to sort!

Said this a few times before. Expand the Northam by 3k, don't add another tier just extend the existing by about 20 rows, nothing fancy. Be surprised if it cost much more than £15 million. This would add reasonable capacity and help dilute the effect of the away support, especially if you also add a few of the other suggestions, trial rail seats in corner, adults only etc. Another tier on the kingsland would just get full of the silent type. Nobody seems to want to move to the chapel and moving away supporters is near impossible.

If we sell then £75m is very achievable in light of the other crazy fees go around!

Half time entertainment at Nottarf Krap. Eisner does Riverdance!
