  1. It can, but you would have to force or motivate the northam lot etc to move there.
  2. I know the police apparently won't allow us to move the away fans, think it's because they can get coaches and police escort to the current area without too much mixing with home fans if need be. But surely there is a solution? How about building an elevated walkway that takes the away fans along the back of the northam (above the current turnstiles) and then into the northam/kingsland corner, the walkway would have to be covered to prevent things being thrown etc . If the will to find a solution were there then without a doubt it could be found, even if it did cost a few million! We really do have to create a home end. Another way would be to extend the northam by about another 3k and then that at least would help dilute the away support somewhat, could kill two birds with this option.
  3. Didn't Garmin used to shirt sponsor Boro?
  4. I'm sure I read somewhere that our UA deal was worth £8 million per season. Double what the Adidas deal apparently is.
  5. A £10million player at £85k a week would cost a similar amount over the period of the contract. I know it's a huge amount but I think a lot of people would say it's realistic for us to spend that on a prolific striker.
  6. How about £116k then?
  7. Charlie Austin is on £113k a week. Reliable source and no I won't say who. Believe it or not!
  8. Sorry, yes it should be 4500 away fans. This would then take season tickets available up around your suggested 25,000.
  9. If you can't read this you have a small willy!
  10. it would not be allowed to go much higher than 23,000 anyway as you have to have a certain % of tickets on general sale and when you consider potentially 10% for away fans then that isn't far off capacity. say 6500 away fans, 24,000 season tickets and that only leaves about 1500 for general sale (after segregation). I know a season ticket doesn't include cup games but you would expect all to have that option.
  11. i think (sadly) you are wrong! The more you earn the more you spend, no matter how much or little.
  12. An extra 3.7k was probably about 10% rise I would guess. If they had offered you a salary increase of between 50% and 100% you would have gone wouldn't you?
  13. If you moved jobs to a larger company with a larger customer base and far larger record of success, plus throw in a huge salary increase, I dont think for one second anyone in their right mind would suggest you had'nt bettered yourself!
  14. When you consider the pics are on the half way line you realise just how massive that blimp is! The pitch is very nearly full size.
  15. Let it go, you are wrong!
  16. Like it
  17. Completely unproven! Hmmmmmmmmmm
  18. Surely you took a shot of the adult version also?
  19. Can actually see their lot spewing that out whilst getting very red in the face , stamping their six toed feet.

Him and his agent will have a reasonable amount of influence on where he ends up. He does not have to go to just any team atletico want to sell to (if they do sell). Just hoping we can reach a deal with the player/agent and atletico. If we pull it off then it's massive!
  22. So are we all agreed this is what we are getting? http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-dmzezgeDSfI/VQF17gq7KzI/AAAAAAAAgKo/-4tyUs-Uw7c/s1600/southampton-15-16-home-kit.jpg
