  1. If they fear and see a boycott they’ll pay tax
  2. HMRC should do a ad campaign highlighting the main companies that do their utmost to avoid paying tax - let the public decide who they may want to boycott. Recently read that Nandos are bastards for tax avoidance.
  3. Although I did read that if a wealth tax is implemented there will be a surge in deaths as all the multimillionaires will jump off cliffs rather than contribute more to maintain society.
  4. Today’s FT. There will be none left soon

I’d forgive Trump for everything if he had the balls to call a hit in on Putin when he’s in Alaska. Fuck this diplomacy
  6. Not the faint hearted the lounge. Although that must’ve been uncalled for
  7. How many farewells is this fellow going to have?
  8. Yeah never had an argument on here once
  9. Tbf he was a reasonable polite poster, a little obsessed about wanting to know more about us. And odd that wanted to put posters in either capitalist or socialist category. I guess that’s woke ice cream men for you
  10. Anyone want to guess how many times Ralph said echo chamber?
  11. Do you think health care should be left to market forces and run by capitalists?
  12. All the ice cream men have moved to Dubai
  13. I imagined it was a furniture shop, as fits the profile of their normal salesman. Although I mustn’t be a twat and mock others’ jobs - everyone is trying to earn a living
  14. That sounds like one of our chicken rivals. I could lose a star if I was discovered doing that.
  15. Oh and Lighthouse is an air hostess. No idea what Farmer Saint might do
  16. I, for one, will not be sharing that I work in a fried chicken shop. Nic came so close to rumbling me by telling me to go back to I stacking shelves. all I know is Turkish works in cybersecurity and Lord Duck works in a shop
  17. My point is there is no clear cut data either way. There are clear agendas in certain parts of media to swipe at Starmer and Reeves at every turn. Farmer has shown that there is clearly no Marxist agenda to hammer the wealthy. You seem to be living in past with preconceived ideas of what you fear Labour might do, rather than what they have actually done. I get you have greedy mates running scared. Btw last quarters GDP growth was above forecasts albeit 0.3%. Your doom narrative is very convenient to support your political views but not too much substance in your argument other than anecdotal. I have made my views clear here plenty of times about the clear complexity of fixing ageing population and the health and welfare needs, creaking underfunded infrastructure, unprecedented immigration that needs tackling. Along with so many digital and offshore companies avoiding taxes their predecessors would have paid. Not the rabid leftie you may think.
  18. There isn’t unquestionable data to prove any sort of mass exodus of millionaires. Although interesting that all forecast suggest the UK will still be 6th largest economy for the next 10 years. Labour psst.

  24. Was the reaction
