All stadiums in the last 30 years are much more family friendly and safer places for young kids to go. Having more kids at gameswill in itself will bring a more fun approach, thus why we get jesters hats, clown suits at games like Saturday. As long as it doesn't happen at every game I can't see much wrong with it.

I agree, it's about everything together. I'd hate to see a large turn out of fancy dressed fans week in week out. I'd also hate to see a stadium full of only lads giving it large. I personally think we've got a great rep at SMS and aside from those fans down the road most fans from other clubs don't have too many bad words to say about us. You can see that from the comments we got when we were promoted.

I'm sorry to keep drawing parallels with my own thread but they are the same in many ways. The difference being is you thought the flare looked good and gave some respect to the club where as the clown suits you thought brought the clubs respect down. It seems the club should be employing you as their PR director as you seem to know what's good for the clubs image. To answer your question, do I think it's ok for grown men to dress as clowns, in moderation at games like Saturday why not as for them it made the celebrations better. I got repeated told by you and others the flare made the celebration better so please tell me what the difference is?

It's ok we wont be able to see what anyone is wearing at SMS soon with everyone bringing flares to the games next season. Won't see much footy either Sorry couldn't help myself.
