If only Patrick Agyemang hadn't chosen to represent Ghana it could have been him.
Poor Patrick.

My word.

I don't quite understand how some people have the time or inclination to build their WUM personas and spam nearly every thread on the main board. Have they really got nothing else to do with their lives?
-
To be fair, I can see why the players struggled last weekend. It can't be easy trying to concentrate on your game when you suspect the ground is being evacuated due to a bomb scare. I'd want to be joining everyone else and heading for the exits too.
-
So have many other sides, and others have spent what I would say is wiser as well.
Definitive.

If they were a bit more transparent with the 'facts' and percentage figures they recently hyped up, maybe we'd know if this magical 34% figure was including or not including the season's parachute payment allocation (all of which is needed to pay creditors/ the Council/ Robinson/etc., of course). If it isn't including the pp, then fair play to them for controlling costs; if it DOES include the pp, then surely they are f***ed?!
I strongly suspect it's the latter. If it wasn't, you know they'd be shouting it from the rooftops.

When are Saints fans going to drop the whole spending above our means rubbish? We spend 34% of our income on wages so that's well and truly manageable.
34% of their income, 100% of which is probably needed to pay their debts

Guy Whittingham sent Adam Webster out on loan but vowed ‘to keep the numbers up’

Why did none of us see this coming?

Neil Allen @pn_neil_allen
Romain Padovani backed to fill gulf left by Johnny Ertl’s three-game #Pompey absence. http://m.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/padovani-backed-to-shine-in-ertl-absence-1-5356063 …
I remember how much the Gibraltar International Ace impressed them during pre-season, only to fail miserabley the action started for real. I'm sure though that this guy is the real deal, #factless.

Do they have to change trains for tonight's game at Central again? If so then maybe they'll get their flag the right way up this time.
I hope we have a huge presence of Saints fans at the station tonight to either stop them getting of the train entirely or duff them up if they do. I was sooooooo embarrassed by them standing on a station platform last year. No, really I was

Yes, the fans put just under 50% of the money in, but what ... does the average pledger (I'm not going to call it shareholder...) have?
Lots of teeth missing and an IQ below 70?

I heard that he's actually offered £20m to play for us, but that we want £24m.

Hi Corpy.
How are the Barbie doll sales going this year?

McInnes was on 5 Live last night.
In fairness he seemed reasonably sensible and stated that they wouldn't sign anyone they couldn't afford.... Just happy to be existing etc.. Oh, and the business plan is robust (lest we forget).
However, he did say two things which I think are best described as, well, lies:
1) "we are debt free" - er, what? Do CVA creditors, Robinson, council know that?!
2) "the PST has three members on the board, reflecting our majority 57% shareholding" - well you may have three members on the board but how can that "reflect" a majority of the shares when it's not in fact a majority of the board?
So despite the potential for actually running the club prudently they just can't let go of some of the Portsmyths.
Sadly (and thankfully) nobody in the media cares enough to fact check this ****e and they know it. Why not tell a few porkies if nobody is actually going to correct you?
-
Would love a rugby style review system or even cricket where it just comes up on the massive board (and needs some IPL style charge music) for big tv ref decisions.
By "love" you mean "hate", right?
-
Nobody can, Weston, because it's simply not true.

Thanks for your input Wilko.

I'd have thought that they might be of more use to the players and coaching stuff!
-
Another illustration of how ridiculously complex our current tax rules are. None of this should be necessary.

Oi, Ali - where's the group?
-
They haven't really got to grips with this reality malarkey yet.
Fixed.

Wonder if this "swag" super fan went to the Bournemouth game? He's too old to be pregnant
You're assuming it's human.

There was never any need for a CVA as all creditors were repaid in full. Even Aviva got the principle of the loan back in full although I beleive that they took a haircut on the interest they'd otherwise have been owed.
We certainly didn't buttf*** the local business community a couple of times and then beg for them to save us.

Reading the comments, are the skates finally getting it!!
Not enough
in the world for this:
Also for all the stripy one as mentioned before, it is only 6 years ago they came out of Admin an their millionares stumped 2p in the pound to exit Admin, so that's their moral high ground is. Then they went on and spent £1.2 million on Ricky Lambert and another £1.5 on other players to gain promotion. Did they offer to pay off their CVA any quicker no.
