  1. BASSA? Now it's beginning to make sense. Duncan it appear's you love flogging dead horses and why you say yourself you love looking back as you believe the good times have left the club for good. Why don't you spend your time writing to Gordon bemoaning what happened to the real Labour party. The world has moved on Duncan and unfortunately for you, you haven't and that's why your views on Lowe have as much relevance as Trade Unions in today's society.

Does this post make any sense at all? What the **** is BASSA?

  2. As saint lard says, if you go on day one or two (possibly three if there's been bad weather delaying things), you can just queue for a ground pass and you'll get to see some decent players. Think they get you in to all courts apart from Centre, 1 and 2.

Edit: Thinking some more, they might get you into court 2 as well actually.

  3. Up to Saturday we had sub zero temperates every night for about two weeks, Baffin's pond has been frozen for most that time, The sea was frozen up Langston The frost was well into the ground not just whitening the tips of the grass, PFC had industrial heaters and the pitch covered since the Monday,

It was a Perm Referee who called the game off, Not a silly little ****** opening his bedroom window and thinking (yer its alright);)

I appreciate that, and yeah it had been cold, but the weather turned Saturday morning (after the match had been called off). By 3pm it would have been fine.

  4. Google I hate Katy, there's a link to a car site in america with a thread on this. Link in there to all the pics on photobucket. Very nice. Bates I think you may have had some of the pics in the past.

Actually I think i googled katy the b itch

  5. Old news is old.

Managed to get all the pics and sent them in a Bewbs pm, oh the good ole days.

Was that the same one though Bates? This looks like a different girl/website. Same sort of thing though.

  7. So it really is 50/50 for me. The next 2 games will confirm for me if were down or were survive.

Sorry, I ignored it about the first 5 times, but it's we'll, not we're (or were even).

  8. I think the Premier League rules stipulate that a club has to be able to play games in temperatures as low as -3. They don't state how a club has to achieve this (i.e. it doesn't say "all clubs must have undersoil heating", unlike the SPL), so I'd be surprised if Pompey were hit with anything more than a trivial fine. If anything, they should just be made to reimburse any fan (either home or away) who was left out of pocket having already booked train tickets etc, rather than have the FA/Premier League profit from it.

Funny thing is, it was pretty mild (and sunny) in Fratton on Saturday morning/afternoon. If they'd waited, the pitch would have been alright.

  9. Not really strange but very transparent. Trying to absolve himself of any blame should they go down. I hate him.

Yeah but what does he gain by making it sound like they are doing worse than they actually are?

Most people's reactions to reading that will be 'bloody hell, 2 points from 8 games? What a crap job Harry is doing.'

  10. I have a blocked sink in my flat...

I would like tips on how to unblock said sink...

Either that or Kim and Aggie to come around and do it for me...then sniff my bed linen...the perverts...

First thing to do would be to unscrew the u bend under the sink, and see if it's that that's blocked. There'll be water in it, so make sure you put a washing up bowl underneath.

  11.

I agree though - this plc has been a failure due to personalities. It became a business as it was run by businessmen and forgot it was a football club almost the moment it was formed.

Sheffield Utd just delisted, no doubt to provide more funds for players. But it sounds as if their own plc was quite amicable - the shareholders had the club in mind before business.

You're right that they've delisted, but they are still a p.l.c as far as I'm aware.

  12. If the club has leaked this info, as seems likely, would they not be liable to face legal action from the players concerned?

I'm pretty sure employers aren't allowed to release individual players' salaries into the public domain. Imagine if your boss went round telling people what you earn, would you be happy?

  13. My reading of this now is you need to go into voluntary administration before you are relegated (unlike Leeds) to trigger the 10 points this season rather than next. This is why there is a very strong possibility that Southampton will go into administration sooner rather than later. Things are critical, I believe.

Even earlier than that I think. Obviously the next step after they had stopped you going into admin as soon as you are relegated would have been for teams to start doing it just before, when relegation was odds-on. So they brought the deadline right forward, to something like March.

Incidentally, we did get our books signed off on a going-concern basis in the end didn't we? It would look a bit odd if the auditors approved that (which basically means we aren't in danger of going out of business in the next accounting period), and then we went into voluntary administration a couple of months later......
