If only we could play Arsenal reserves every week. Puel would be king.

He also had 15 days to prepare for the cup final vs Man united 3 days..... Still ****ed it up

By that logic, if league 2 Pompey had had 2months to prepare, they would've beaten Man U at Wembley. Zlatan or no Zlatan.

Then, purely for balance, let us see highlights of the away Europa games in Beer Sheva and Prague. The home games against WBA, Spurs, Norwich and Arsenal (in the FA Cup) West Ham, Bournemouth, Man City, Hull, Arsenal, Man Utd and Stoke.

Still laughing?

Letsbe, you can try and justify in your mind that Puel was no good and that you were right in wanting him gone, but I doubt if either of us will live to see us have a Wembley cup final appearance again in our lives. Puel was hung out to dry by the club not giving him a forward who could put the ball into the net. We both have been to many games that were 0-0 ,we have also been to many games where we won 1-0 in the most tedious of games, the feeling after each the 2 are different. Puel was unfortunate that we just didn't put the ball into the net and so the general frustration (understandable) built up. I doubt you would believe that had Puel stayed we would be in this position now. He would have got players in and also the style of play would have developed.

Anyway, we march on together
