thegaffer Posted 9 July, 2009 Share Posted 9 July, 2009 I would of thought that whoever ML wants as manager he will get. Who in their right mind would turn down a billionaire owner regardless of what division we are in. This is the ideal job where you build your team within the correct timescale ready for an assault on the Prem and then as Nicola Cortese says in the Echo "If we want to play in the Champions League we would need to spend a lot of money" This has to be one of the most sought after jobs in the country. A chance to build a team from scratch.
Suhari Posted 9 July, 2009 Share Posted 9 July, 2009 Have to agree. Its a bit like real life FM! Good infrastructure, great fans. Money. A blank sheet. A chance to build something great from solid foundations. BUT - must surely be a job for the young and ambitious rather than the older manager.
