Wouldnt he make a good partner for Ricky Lambert? I know hes still with us and hes the right age! showed PLENTY of promise every time ive watched him!

not a bad shout,actually !

Lambert is not the quickest,so having a fast forward next to him would certainly be preferred. and White is very fast !

even so,I think he`s too young and inexperienced for this season,we cant expect him to deliver constantly just yet..

IMO,we need another striker with pace (maybe I`m getting too greedy now that we are spending money) :D

Jamie White is friends with some of my Sunday league team and was at our game in Hamble on Sunday. He looked like a normal lad, a little bit heavy around the middle and I asked him to run the line. The looks of horror from everybody that obviously knew who he was - I didn't have a clue! So I'd say that he's a little while off being fit yet. He did suffer some shocking injuries season don't forget!

Did he run the line?

Did he keep up with play? Maybe we finally have a forward who knows what the offside trap is!

TBH Pato isn't ready to be starting week-in, week-out either. JW was out on loan at Shrewsbury but only played half a dozen games before getting recalled then broke his ankle.

Shrewsbury were very keen to keep him too......the jury is out on this one, give him a few games, the cup and coming off the bench is perfect. Maybe look at loaning him out in Jan.

Agree with most of what has been said. Definitely one for the future.

I expect to see him eased into the team towards the end of the season. We need at least four strikers to rotate and to cover injuries. I also expect that Saga and Rasiak will be off, which will leave us with one experienced (Lambert) and two youngsters (Paterson and White), although both Lallana and McLaggon are listed as strikers on the OS.
