England trying to force a result or just wanting to get more batting practice?

Bangladesh's 2nd innings.....

Carberry bowled 4 overs for 78!

Cook bowled 5 overs for 111!

Choudry 91no from 30 balls!

Mahmud 66no from 17 balls!

Both batting practice ( Bresnan is in at 4 with England 125/2) and the hope of a result I guess ? Bit of a farce though it has to be said.
