Matthew Le God Posted 20 April, 2010 Share Posted 20 April, 2010 From the Kingsland stand I can't see the corporate areas, is David Jones still going to matches and is he still involved with the club? He did initially survive the administration and was kept on to help the transition, but is he still at the club at the moment?
Dibden Purlieu Saint Posted 20 April, 2010 Share Posted 20 April, 2010 I thought he was put on gardening leave in 1999. Oh, the financial director, no idea.

Harry Faz Posted 20 April, 2010 Share Posted 20 April, 2010 He is a real survivor if he is still in place - can understand him staying under the old regime- guess he knows where all the bodies are buried, but would have expected the new regime to appoint a new DOF. Red And White Barmy Army Posted 20 April, 2010 Share Posted 20 April, 2010 he's practically the only guy in the club who actually knows all the different parts inside out - from the insurance office to the community office to the first team. changing that would cause an incredible amount of disruption IMO. a new guy, however good, would take years to get to grips with the entire business.
