SO16_Saint Posted 24 March, 2011 Share Posted 24 March, 2011 Hi all. Was hoping that this could be made a sticky (mods?) for the next few months to raise awareness of the upcoming Great South Run. Me, and im sure a few other SWF members, are running the GSR in Southsea for the Saints Foundation. We need to raise a minimum of £250.00 for the Foundation each. I've set up a Virgin MoneyGiving page and would be grateful for any donations from you kind people... Perhaps all the runners for the Foundation could post a link to their page on this post for donations too?? For a starters, here's my page: www.virginmoneygiving.com/MarkBridge Any / all help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Mark

Quickfire Double Posted 30 March, 2011 Share Posted 30 March, 2011 Bridgey: are you able to set up the money-giving page to pay straight out to the Saints Foundation? Sound work getting your page up and running, I'll put mine on here when I get it sorted.

Quickfire Double Posted 30 March, 2011 Share Posted 30 March, 2011 OK - here goes. I am doing the absolutely unthinkable in pursuit of rasing money for the Saints Foundation. Not running 10 miles through P*mpey in a Saints top - that'll be an pleasure beyond words. No, the unthinkable is of course breaking out from behind the cover of my PC and disclosing my actual, true to life identity on here!! If any of you fine folk would be so kind as to part company with a small amount of cash for sponsorship, I'd be humbly and permanently grateful! http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/TristanDaynes Thank you kindly, Trist. Smirking_Saint Posted 31 March, 2011 Share Posted 31 March, 2011 Hi all, finally got my sponsorship page up and running. I for one also didn't want to post my full name on here, but hey ho i'll bite the bullet, surely thats worth at least a £5 !! Anyone that wishes to help me out by raising money can go to my page here, well TBH I think any of us will be greatful to any contributions to the Saints foundations. Lets just home my knee holds up !!! Anything you can spare, even 50p I will be extremely greatful for, just don't turn up and throw stuff at me on the day. http://www.virginmoneygiving.com/BradSmirk
