1976_Child Posted 8 November, 2008 Share Posted 8 November, 2008 Darn it. The trains are all up the spout this weekend from Brighton to Southampton. Engineering works. Bus replacements around chichester. Means I can't get to the game and get back before midnight. Anyone know a place in Brighton which is going to show the game? Or want to invite me to watch it with them!! (I'll bring pop-corn and beer....)
TheCholulaKid Posted 8 November, 2008 Share Posted 8 November, 2008 If you're online at home - plenty of sites to stream it from. That's my preferred choice for a rainy Saturday. Otherwise (depending on which part of Brighton you're in) - The Providence on Western Rd has several screens, as does the Lion and Lobster (better pub), and the Walkabout. I imagine most pubs will be showing the Liverpool game (assuming they've got Setanta)

They are showing the scousers. I suppose I could always go to Curry's and ask them to show it. Pretend I want to buy a flat screen tele but need to check it first... Bloody rail company. St. Mulv Posted 8 November, 2008 Share Posted 8 November, 2008 There is a good big pub on Marlborough or Gloucester Place that showed us v Chaventry game recently when it was a late Saturday kick off, when United Blackburn were on at the same time. They have a load of screens. Can't remember the name of it, but big place, large outdoor seating area to the right hand side of it, if you were facing the pub.
