22nd October 2001 and our beloved Saints were firmly ensconsed in our new stadium that you were (justifiably) so proud of. You had just appointed one of the best manager's this club has ever had and we were about to begin a long roller coaster ride to destruction.

Season 2002-03 and under Strachan's guidance, we finished 8th in the Premier League, were playing good football and played in our first FA Cup Final since 1976 - good times

13th February 2004. In order to oush on from the solid foundations being built by Strachan and his team, he came, cap in hand, to you and your croonies to ask for funding to step up to the next level (who knows where that may have taken us???). Your reluctance to back the man meant that he walked. - here we go.

His successor? That jowly faced ***** from our staunch rivals (how did you ever think that he would be the solution?). Now, he couldn't really **** up what Gordon had left that season. However, the following season, he led us to bottom of the Premiership and saw our exit from the top flight of English football for the first time in 27 years (incidentally, it may have passed you by that he then returned to our staunch rivals a ****ing hero!!).

Since then, our total freefall into oblivion contiues unabated.

You have been quoted as saying we have:

A great stadium

A radio station and food that we can be proud of.

Well, that's just great isn't it? All the songs and pies in the world aint ever gonna win the ****ing league are they?

Where did all the transfer money go from the sale of players such as:

Beattie

Jones

Walcott

Crouch

If it wasn't used to service the debt of the stadium, whose pockets did it line? Or was our success of the early 00's borne out from a poorly thought through financial plan which involved paying way over what we could afford?

We are perhaps best known now for all the boardroom shuffling and political in-fighting over recent year's as you and others have tried to exert your authority over the PLC. Don't worry about the football or the fans (the lifeblood of the club as it happens).

As we continue our free-fall descent into League 1 and administration under the guidance of Mr (I'll do it for a tenner a week) Poortvliet, you will probably decide enough is enough when you realise that there is no financial gain to be had from a club that is on it's knees in administration and walk away.

So, a big thanks Woopert, thanks for destroying this great club of ours:mad:

In fairness despite all the records being available nobody has ever shown where these missing millions have been siphoned off too, the accounts always tally. The FA cup run was worth £1M for being runners up and say £1-1.5M in gate revenue and finishing 8th was worth £2-3M more than finishing 16/17th. There never was a great pot of gold at the end of the rainbow and as many other clubs Birmingham, Man City, Everton and Sunderland have shown speculating millions is no guarantee of success. Those clubs also had people backing them with cash which Rupert has never had (other people own more shares and don't throw cash at the club either). I've never seen evidence of anybody wanting to buy or invest in us either. Now i'm not defending RL at all, and i'm as disappointed with what's happened to our club, but things need to seen more realistically by people. EVERY team goes through good times and bad times and it's our **** luck that it's our turn at the bottom of the heap.

I will say this once again,

If you want Lowe out, think about changing tactics

Fair enough everyone has a right to be p*ssed off with Lowe, but if they seriously want to make changes at SFC the target of all the abuse has to change.

The ONE person who should be targeted with a hate campaign and driven from the club, forced to sell his shares is WILDE.

Without Wilde's backing Lowe would be gone very shortly, just trying to force Lowe out on his own will not change much at SMS.

Its time for ACTION and its time WILDE is forced to sell up, Step up with a hate campaign against this man and he will sell, as he has proved he is a spineless whimp.

Hate campaigns against Lowe are water off a ducks back to Lowe, so save your energy.

I agree 100%. Wilde is the root cause of the situation.

The money has been wasted on quantity rather than quality. We have had too many players because we have had too many managers, each of whom wants to bring in their own favourites rather than work with what was already here.

I'd agree some of our signing hav'nt been great but we've never really had anyone to bankroll the wages and the wages increases of the other players if we did sign anyone from the next level. We need somebody to bankroll the club, trouble is we don't seem to have any takers :( The manager situation is ****e as well and Rupes should take responsibility for that, but the fans stopped Hoddle coming back!
