Sold To The Man @ The Bar Posted 18 January, 2009 Share Posted 18 January, 2009 Are we looking for a symbolic show to the media that we are a united fan base without damaging the club ? A pitch invasion would lead to a points deduction and should we be lucky enough to finish fourth from bottom how gutted would we be to have points taken from us and get relegated. Any damage of property or attack on the directors would finish in prosecution At every game there are TV cameras that show the highlights on Sky, BBC and ITV and digital cameras that print pics in most daily newspapers, what more a striking image than an empty stadium for their back pages, it only has to be for the first 10 mins or 45 mins if you want. Lets face facts none of us have the funds to buy this club and change it, so lets get the media working for us, if there is an empty ground at the start of the Swansea game it would be shown around the world as fan power, most media companies would phone Mr Lowe or Mr Wilde for a quote. If a number of us are happy to get to the game early and distribute leaflets calling on the boycott to pubs and outside the ground I’m happy to help organise it. Can't remember us getting a points deduction last year for a pitch invasion against Shef Utd nor derby against us! The time is now for radical action, militant if required, stand up and fight for our club!
Papa Shango Posted 18 January, 2009 Share Posted 18 January, 2009 Pretty sure we wouldn't get a points deduction for a pitch invasion. They happen every year all around the country and nothing ever happens.

Only trying to offer another view and action
Toomer Posted 18 January, 2009 Share Posted 18 January, 2009 After the final whistle after the Swansea match a major protest on the pitch in front of the directors box.
rocknrollman no2 Posted 18 January, 2009 Share Posted 18 January, 2009 May i suggest if there is to be a pitch invasion, nobody is to sing "On the pitch" before, because this only causes a line of stewards three deep at the front. My idea is to have enough fans in maybe the Itchen to start singing it,then when all the stewards rush over,us in the Northam could start singing it,thus causing the stewards to run back towards us. At least it would be funny?
