With no Saints game this weekend, we are offering half price admission for Southampton FC season ticket holders and members on Saturday for Sholing v Tiverton Town in the Southern League Premier (Step 3 of Non League)

Please just show proof of ST/Membership at the turnstile.  Cash & Card payments accepted.

It's also FREE admission for all Under 18s.

This will be Paul Doswell's first home game in charge and the Boatmen are currently on a 7 match unbeaten run in our first ever season at this level.  I'm sure you all know that Dos (former Eastleigh & Sutton Utd manager) is a big Saints supporter and Sholing born & bred.

There are plenty of Saints connections at Sholing and we currently have Jake Flannigan (pictured), Jake Hesketh and Lloyd Isgrove playing for us.  All ex-Saints players and we are hoping that friend of the club, James Beattie, will be watching on from the sidelines.

We've doubled the amount of covered standing at the ground for this season, so plenty of cover if it's raining.  At our level, it's also ok to drink pitchside as you watch the match (in a plastic glass)

If you've not visited us before, we are on P*rtsmouth Road between Sholing & Old Netley.  Plenty of free parking on site.  Post code SO19 9PW

Hope you to see you there (and at our home game v Poole Town the following Saturday).

They lost 4-0.

A noticeable change in style from Dave Diaper's direct play. A bit like Saints and Martin coming in in that respect.

Tiverton scored with almost every shot on target, one was a 50+ yard effort over the keeper which was pretty incredible.

Why was the change made? Hasn't Diaper been at Sholing since the middle ages?

Yeah, ages. Not sure why he left.

They have Paul Doswell now, ex Havant manager. He was the guy who did that interview on Solent laying into Nathan Jones.

Success this season would be to stay up. A lot of other teams in the league are much more professional and have way bigger fanbases.

Salisbury will likely run away with the title. Totton have a chance of play offs if they carry on getting decent results.

My lad used to play for one of the Sholing kids team's a few years back. Always seemed a decent set up even at the age.
