To stay in the championship

To stay in the Championship, I would be interested to know what people think we need in terms of spirit, personnel, tactics. Basically what will it take?

I have jotted down a couple of thoughts:

1) Positivity - without it we are doomed

2) 27 points minimum, see above for importance

3) three loan signings - championship stature. one central midfielder, one right back ( move James up) and one out and out goal scorer, would obviously have to be journey man.

4) get Dyer back, new man in charge, maybe do trick!

5) off load whoever isn't happy at club or who can make number three happen

6) CHANGE OF BOARD now although that is wishful thinking

7) one system, 442 until end of season to spark some continuity

8) One last push from fans at home and away. Cliche, but we can be the twelfth man!!!!!!

we need to start picking points up regularly from sat, Lets show the swans the true spirit of southampton!!!

One step at a time, after a good result last night Saturdays game is now a MUST win at all costs. We the fans can play our part, by supporting the team and not getting on their backs as soon as they make an error.

One other thing that I feel is needed, a good peaceful protest prior to the game, but total support inside the stadium.

Trouble is, Forest, Doncaster, Watford etc are all looking better than us at the moment and are capable of WINNING games now whereas we do not seem to be. It's very difficult to pick two, or even three, other sides that will be worse than we are come the end of the season. The only way out is to win enough games to finish mid table, we will simply not survive by winning that "four team mini-league" at the bottom. Even Charlton may surprise a few yet, so for me it's going to be a near impossible task.

its all depending IF we can start winning home games, we are pretty decent on the road.

Yes all the other teams have hit form but they wont win every game from here till the end of the season. Also notice Derby are in the middle of it now.

Its certainly not over and as I said, if we pick up more home wins then Its all possible.

Just hope Wotte can do it. Encouraged by the away draw at Norwich as it showed the team has a bit of fight in them.
