Season needs to end - it’s becoming saints in the prem esque, hopefully we adopt to div2 like saints did in the Championship He’s alright, won a national talent competition in Aus. Dobber with the ball, effective in autumnal conditions, and a handy bat. Better professional than most of the Hants squad atm.
Lighthouse Posted Tuesday at 12:32 Posted Tuesday at 12:32 Would you believe we’ve actually just put in the best D1 batting display of the morning. 🤣 Essex are 101-8, Glamorgan 110-5, Notts 69-3 and Yorks 93-5. 1

Finally made 214. Seemingly the toss is décisive in these September conditions. A couple of our early outs did nothing wrong really but the first 10 overs or so are tough going, even with dobbers like Holland, if it's straight and does a bit off the wicket batting becomes a lottery. Then it gets much easier. 1
Window Cleaner Posted Wednesday at 11:11 Author Posted Wednesday at 11:11 (edited) Leics 244 all out. Frankly our bowling this morning was at best lacklustre. A couple of fairly adjacent looking lbw décisions didn't go our way and the bowlers concerned looked a bit discouraged after. But those decisions are impossible to tell without the video. Window Cleaner Posted Wednesday at 11:51 Author Posted Wednesday at 11:51 Fielding in women's cricket is risible.
Window Cleaner Posted Wednesday at 13:23 Author Posted Wednesday at 13:23 Pitch seems to have gone really quiet, far from that of yesterday morning.
Window Cleaner Posted Wednesday at 16:40 Author Posted Wednesday at 16:40 A good day with Hants 225 ahead with 3 down. Probably let Leics get twenty or so runs more than they should have got but all in all we look to be in a good'ish position. 1
Window Cleaner Posted Wednesday at 19:24 Author Posted Wednesday at 19:24 Leics 27 points déduction for a dodgy pitch against Glams. Should get another one for yesterday's horror. Bumps everywhere and the roller leaked some sort of liquid all over it. 1
Window Cleaner Posted 22 hours ago Author Posted 22 hours ago Wicket looks to have become really docile and the Hants bowlers will have to work hard to get us the win. Just now we seem to be trying to buy wickets but we'll probably need to tighten up some of the short stuff if and when they get past 100/1 or so. 1
Lee On Solent Saint Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Batting culpable once again. 245-3 to 363 all out is pretty dismal. 1

To bé expected with a tail that starts at 6. Now leaking too many runs. Lumsden too erratic and Organ is a part time spinner, part time batter too! Edited 2 hours ago by Window Cleaner
Window Cleaner Posted 40 minutes ago Author Posted 40 minutes ago Ridiculous attitude. We've given up and are gifting them the win .
Gloucester Saint Posted 10 minutes ago Posted 10 minutes ago Needs to be a huge clear out - majority of the squad and batters bar Lehmann, possibly Gubbins. Weatherley and Albert are ok for white ball contracts. New skipper, new Head Coach, new DoC. Board needs a major overhaul as well.
